Hamberg's AIK mask in old school style

I just love to create and paint old school designs. Crisp and clean on a distance, and the closer you come the more details opens up, and the designs transforms in front of your eyes.

This design I created and painted an early summer morning last summer. Love to be your painter Alexander!

The design has the beautiful AIK logo in focus and the rest is a symphony in gold and black. And just as usual it is loaded with all the DAVEART trademark effects :)

It´s all in the details…

Today we have the pleasure to present the new SHL mask for the AIK keeper Daniel Larsson. Daniel wants clean and graphic designs, with bold lines, and then we have loaded it with details to be discovered al over the mask, it is all in the details…:)

The design delivers on a distance in the seats in the arenas with the clear lines, and then when the TV cameras zoom it all the Metallic FX, 3D PaintTech, GhostSmoke and Holographics kicks in :)

It is so special to paint for AIK. I remember when I was a kid and often watched AIK play, and in the defense they had the legend Börje Salming, it was magic :) I´ve been working with AIK for so many years and it´s always such a joy to create with the powerful AIK logo.

Lundström´s new AIK bucket

Today we have the pleasure to present Niklas Lundström´s latest SHL bucket. Me and Niklas have been working together for many years and it´s always a joy to create your masks Niklas :)

It was so fun to paint and create this design in old school style, and so pumped with details to be discovered al over the mask, created with DAVEART 3D PaintTech and DAVEART Holographix and much more fun stuff. And with a nice buddy pop up on the side :)

Rat invasion in Stockholm

Watch out, it seems to be a rat invasion in Stockholm...! It was so fun to create Daniel Larsson´s new Elitserien mask for his new team AIK. I have been working with Daniel for many years.

From a distance the design is a clear old school design that breathes AIK, but when you come closer and the TV cameras zoom in the mask you will see what is happening...! It is a rat invasion all over the mask! In Sweden AIK is also called the rats... That is why... :-)

I love to create 2 in 1 designs, the closer you come the more details you discover and the mask transforms in front of your eyes.

Fasth´s AIK mask

Today we have the pleasure to present Viktor Fasth´s latest AIK mask, it is also the same mask he is using right now in the World Championships.

It is so fun to paint for Viktor, I have painted for Viktor since he was a young kid... Then it was very, very wild designs with monsters, now Viktor wants more classic old school designs. I love to create them for Viktor, designs with strong contrasts. This design breathes AIK. And as usual he also wants some of his favorite music artists created in a graphic way on the mask.

Fasth celebrates his musical idols once again

I have been painting for Viktor Fasth since he was a little kid and it's much fun to follow a goalie's career. On the early masks there were monsters, now on the latest masks Viktor has changed to designs with his musical favorites. He also wants it very old school with paintings created with pencil, really back to basic. I love to shift painting techniques and on one side I created this motif with Lars Winnerbäck and Håkan Hellström. The rest is a clean AIK design with extreme contrasts.
