Pavelec´s Boss mask…🎸

Winnipeg Jets

When Ondrej Pavelec told me he wanted a tribute design to the boss himself, Bruce Springsteen and the E street band, I was totally excited and could not wait to get started.🎸🎤

I remember when I was a kid and I sat in my big brother´s room and looked at his posters of the Boss… The Boss is a part of my pop culture life :)🎨

Ondrej and I brainstormed how to create the design and a plan crystallized in our brains, and I started to paint with my airbrushes. A clean cut old school design with Bruce painted in different eras. Everything created in light colors and a design that breath Winnipeg Jets.✈️

The closer you come the more details you will discover and the design transforms in front of your eyes into a storybook, and of course you find all the DAVEART Trademark Super FX💎.

Thanks Ondrej! I am so proud to be your personal artist. We have been working for many years, and two (!) Olympics! Very cool :)😃 :)

You are welcome to check out the mask in the mask gallery or on our Facebook page. You´ll also find a lot of behind the scene photos on our Instagram, and you´re welcome to follow us also on Twitter.

The Jets Strikes back…

Winnipeg Jets

"The Jets Strikes Back"… yes that is name of Ondrej Pavelec´s latest Jets mask artwork 🚀. I had so fun when I created and painted this piece 🎨.

Ondrej had such a cool idea for his new mask… He wanted all his trainers, as pilots in F18 jets, and they are fighting! Full action and full speed! They are even dropping bombs…💣

And take a look closer, in the background, they are flying over many famous landmarks of Winnipeg…🗻

And then around all the action I framed it with Ondrej´s classic Jets mask look which we have evolved together for many years.

Just as usual the design is loaded with insane detail work and all the DAVEART Trademark FX 💎 is here.

Thank you Ondrej, I am so proud to be your personal artist! We have worked together for many years, and two Olympics! That is huge 😃

You are welcome to check out the mask in the mask gallery or on our Facebook page. You´ll also find a lot of behind the scene photos on our Instagram, and you´re welcome to follow us also on Twitter.

Pavelec´s Jets mask is a tribute to The Royal Canadian Airforce 👑

Winnipeg Jets

Today we have the pleasure to present Ondrej Pavelec´s latest Winnipeg Jets mask 🚀

The design is a symphony of detail work with paintings as a tribute to the Royal Canadian Airforce. It was so much fun to create this piece. The design is a direct continuation of Ondrej´s previous mask which me and Ondrej created together ✈

The white parts of the design is an important part of the design which makes it clear and crisp and old school. The closer you come the more details you will discover and the mask becomes a storyteller mask and pay tribute to the heroes of The Royal Canadian Airforce 👑

As usual the design is loaded with all the DAVEART Trademark Super FX 🌟 hidden in the old school layout.

-I feel the need… The need for speed!

Winnipeg Jets

- I feel the need… The need for speed… yea the yellow dude is transformed into the fighter jet super pilot Maverick as the true Top Gun he is, ready to break the sound barrier 💥 in his custom made jet plane 😎

But he look a bit shocked…? O no… it is smoke coming from the wing… 😬 But I´m sure he will handle it somehow, he is the super pilot of fighter jets; yellow Maverick :) ⭐️

I love to tell a story with a mask, and transform a mask into something else… and here I got to do both :)

As always the design is loaded with details and DAVEART Trademark Super FX all over the mask, so the mask works both on a distance as up close, and a mask that breath Winnipeg Jets in every detail.

I am so proud to be your artist Peter! We have been working for so many years :) , and two (!) Olympics! 😃

You are welcome to check out the mask in the mask gallery or on our Facebook page. You´ll also find a lot of behind the scene photos on our Instagram, and you´re welcome to follow us also on Twitter.

Pavelec salutes the Royal Canadien Airforce

Winnipeg Jets

Ondrej Pavelec salutes the Royal Canadian Airforce on his new Winnipeg Jets mask. It was so exciting to paint this piece.

Ondrej wanted a really classic looking old school design, with insane detail work to discover when you come closer and closer.

The design is a so called 2 in 1 design, on a distance it is a clean design, and when you come closer the mask enters a new dimension and becomes a storyteller design :)

On each side I painted artworks of classic fighter planes flying over the beautiful landscape of Canada.

Thanks Ondrej, love to be your painter.

You are welcome to check out the mask in the mask gallery or on our Facebook page. You´ll also find a lot of behind the scene photos on our Instagram, and you´re welcome to follow us also on Twitter.

Pavelec´s latest Jets lid transformed into a bomb attack

Winnipeg Jets

I am so proud to be your personal painter Ondrej, this design was very exciting to create for you I just love to always come up with new design solutions day in day out, every single is always unique.

I have been working as a pro painter now for 18 years, the time just flies by, it is my dream job. We present new paintings here at the site many times every week all year around. Thank you for your visit here.

Today we have the pleasure to present the latest #NHLmask for #Winnipeg #Jets keeper Ondrej Pavelec. We have been working together for many years.

This design is a direct continuation of his past Jets masks. On the last masks the chin of the masks was transformed into a fighter jet plane…. and here the chin is created into a badass bomb falling from jet planes in the sky!

The upper part of the mask is created into a Winnipeg Jets blue sky, and there you find the jets planes flying, dropping there bombs all over. And check out close on the bombs, they are Winnipeg Jets bombs for sure!

I love to create designs that works both on a distance, and when you come closer you will discover all the details and the design transforms in front of your eyes into a new design.

The design is also a tribute to the Royal Canadian Air Force incorporated together with the Jets logo on the top.

As usual the #NHL mask is loaded with all the #DAVEARTtrademark effects

You are welcome to check out the mask in the mask gallery or on our Facebook page. You´ll also find a lot of behind the scene photos on our Instagram, and you´re welcome to follow us also on Twitter.

Pavelec's Fighter Jet mask, wilder than ever

Winnipeg Jets

Winnipeg Jets keeper Ondrej Pavelec's new Fighter Jet mask is here, and it's wilder than ever…! With this mask on Ondrej transforms into a Fighter Jet.

I remember when I was a kid and saw those cool WW fighter jets with the cool paintings with eyes and mouth, ever since then I have been thinking they would look so cool on a mask. Ondrej loved my ideas how to transform the mask into a fighter jet, and when I created his first Jets mask last summer we made the first Fighter Jet mask a reality. It was a huge hit. This new mask is the third Fighter Jet mask, all created in a unique way. Every mask I create is totally unique.

I just love to paint details and special FX, and this mask is totally pumped with it, there's smoke coming from the engine and so much more, when you come closer you will discover the mask is a treasure map of details. And when you look on the top of the mask you will see it's ready for takeoff!

Thanks Ondrej! I love to paint for you!

Thank you all for your interest in my paint, I really appreciate it. :-)

Dex goes Top Gun...

Winnipeg Jets

Dex goes Tom Cruise and Top Gun and transforms himself into a fighter jet pilot when Mark Dekanich moves to the Winnipeg Jets... He have jumped into his fighter jet plane and flies over the St John Ice Caps´s mountains...but watch out! He has dropped a bomb...and check it out, even if the bomb looks kind with the smiley...it is not, look closer...the power switch is turned on!

It is always such a joy to paint for you Mark! And as always Dex shows up on the masks. :-) Just as usual the design is full pumped with details and effects to explore. One important ingredient for Dex on this mask was the Canadian leaves, since it´s his first Canadian pro mask.

Welcome to check out Dekanich´s Jets mask in the mask gallery! Thank you all for your great interest!

Pavelec´s mask saga continues

Winnipeg Jets

Today we have the pleasure to present Ondrej Pavelec's latest Winnipeg Jets mask. When we presented his first mask my mailbox almost exploded, I am so happy the design was so popular among the Jets fans. And Ondrej was also so happy with it that he wanted this one to be a continuation in the same style. We just changed some minor details, every artwork is unique.

The design Ondrej and I came up with is a tribute to the Canadian Airforce, built on the team logos. I came up with the base design idea when the new team logos were presented to me last summer. Ondrej loved my ideas. The wings spread out on each side in a powerful way, both look good on a distance and close up, and the closer you come the more details you will discover, with both canadian fighters jets and cockpit details. I always do a lot of research before any artwork, every artwork tells its story.

The chin of the mask transforms into an old school fighter jet front with its special classic painting with eyes and teeth. A cool detail that spices up the old school design and makes the mask feels like Jets to a 100%. The design is made to fit the uniform with its clean and traditional look. And of course a lot of details, 3-D effects and DAVEART Holographix FX.

Welcome to check it out in the mask gallery and on Facebook. And of course in the DAVEART App for iPhone, iPad and Android!

Aebischer´s Jets design a tribute to the Royal Canadian Air Force and the Canadian Aces of WW2

Winnipeg Jets

Today we have the pleasure to present David Aebischer´s new Winnipeg Jets mask. It was very exciting to create this design, a tribute to the Royal Canadian Air Force and the Canadian Aces of WW2. The design has a lot of meanings and messages, so many details that some you cannot see on the photos, only when you see it live. I love to incorporate a lot of details and stories into the designs.

On one side it is a tribute painting to the Canadian Ace Wilbert Dodd from the WW2. I painted his plane flying over the mountains in Winnipeg Jets blue colors, with the The Royal Canadian Air Force logo.

The other side is painted to look like an old school fighter plane with the metal surface, with a babe painted on it, just like it used to be. And this babe is very special, as you can see she have a spear, a shield with the Swiss flag, and braided hair. She is Helvetia, a Swiss national figure.

Around the chin is the latin phrase from the Air Force logo, "Per Ardua Ad Astra", that is also the name of this mask design. It means "Through adversity to the stars", and that phrase inspired the whole artwork. From the front the graphic lines on the top shapes the letter V, the sign of Victory and the sign Churchill showed when WW2 was won.

These are just some of all the details in this very detailed artwork. Welcome to check it out in the mask gallery, on Facebook and in the App!

Boone becomes a fighter jet pilot

Winnipeg Jets

The Winnipeg Jets goalie Peter Mannino always wants the cute mascot Boone from his school years on the mask. I love when a character follows a goalie through the career, and to evolve the character from year to year. I have painted for Peter for a couple of years and we have placed Boone in all kind of situations on his masks, from a fisherman or transformed him into a bird when Peter played in Atlanta Thrashers... Now when Peter plays with Winnipeg Jets, the immediate idea was to create Boone as a fighter jet pilot. So I dressed him up in a pilot outfit and gave him a cute fighter plane to fly with... :)

Around this I created an effective, crisp and clear Jets design with the red leaf in focus. I also created the body of the mask as the body of a plane with nits and metal effects. The metal has been torn open, Boone has to fly carefully... The design of the mask is also mixed with a design connection to Peters pads. And as usual, lots and lots of details.

As you can see I had lots of fun when I created Peter Mannino's Winnipeg Jets mask design a hot summer day. Welcome to check it out in the mask gallery and on Facebook.

Brad Paisley on Pasquale´s new mask

Winnipeg Jets

Today we have the pleasure to present Ed Pasquale´s new Winnipeg Jets mask. Ed had a very cool idea, he wanted to pay tribute his favorite music artist Brad Paisley. I immediately started to think and plan for the design. I love to create calm mask designs, it doesn´t need to be a lot of action to deliver. I am also just as Ed a big fan of Paisley, and I sketched a design that I felt was in the same style as Paisley´s music. I came up with the concept and Ed gave me green light to start.

One side I created as a tribute to Brad Paisley, old school airbrush paint mixed with artworks created in sketchy style give a nice calm balance to the design, spiced up with lots and lots of details to discover when you come closer.

The rest of the design is a clean team design with a lot of 3-D effects. On the chin area I painted the mountains from the IceCaps logo and created it as a landscape line with a sky above with glittering stars. Details I love to do.

Hope you enjoy it, you are welcome to check it out in the mask gallery. Thank you for your interest.

Pavelec's Winnipeg Jets mask transforms into an old school fighter jet

Winnipeg Jets

Today we're very proud to present Ondrej Pavelec's new Winnipeg Jets mask. It was a very special feeling to create this new design to a totally new NHL team. The design Ondrej and I came up with is a tribute to the Canadian Airforce, built on the team logos. The wings spread out on each side in a powerful way, and everything is created with strong contrasts to make it look good from a distance.
