Warrior angels in Manhattan...🗽

Jason Missiaen had an awesome idea, he wanted his new Rangers design in a totally new look, and spin it around Warrior angels....👊

Wow it sounded awesome, we started to brainstorm... And in our imaginations this design crystallized more and more...🎨

A gritty and rough look surrounds the unusual layout, with the statue of liberty in the heart of the design as the conductor.🗽

The closer you come the more details you will discover and the design evolves in front of your eyes, the warrior angels will appear in different tones...

As usual all the DAVEART Trademark Super FX 💎 is here...

Missiaen´s new NYR mask, an old school mask that delivers in 360 degrees

Today we have the pleasure to present Jason Missiaen´s latest New York Rangers mask. This #NHL creation is made in an old school style, mixed with a lot of modern effects into a design that works in all 360 degrees.

Love to be your painter Jason and evolve your mask art from mask to mask.

I love the challenge to day in day out come up with new design solutions in always different styles, always think outside the box. Every single mask I paint and create is always 100% unique.

This #NewYork #Rangers creation is build in white base as the white #NYR uniform, and the Rangers logos and Wolfpack logos built into it creating a total new look. And it is all transformed into a treasure map of details to be discovered all of the mask.

Jason pays tribute to his rock idols

Jason Missiaen loves rock, and in particular the rock of Jack White and Matt Bellamy... On each side of the mask you will find a subtle tribute to them created just like old school rock t-shirts. Around that we have built a clean and classic team connected design that breathes New York Rangers.

This design has a very different design style than Jason's previous mask, it is so exciting to change style from mask to mask. Love to work with you Jason!

Just as usual the mask is fully pumped with detail work, and special effects like Holographix FX, Metallic FX, GhostSmoke, 3D PaintTech and much much more...

Check out the mask in the mask gallery! Thank you all!

Donkey Kong in New York

I can´t tell you enough how fun I had when I created this Rangers design for Jason Missiaen. Donkey Kong was one of my first video games when I grew up.

The whole mask is created as a concrete wall with Rangers graphics with the Statue of Liberty...and the entire wall is breaking into pieces and there behind the wall you find New York city... But what is going on... Donkey Kong has just climbed up on the top of the Empire State Building, just as his buddy King Kong... And this is a real hockey donkey, he has also brought his hockey stick...but oh no, I see problems coming...just like his buddy King Kong he is being attacked by fighter planes...they are flying all over shooting at him!

I love to paint details, and here I really went crazy on details, added with maximum action and 3-D effects as well as Metallic FX by DAVEART, and more... :-)

Welcome to check out the mask design in the mask gallery. Thank you.
