Check out DiPietro's new unique creation by David

New York Islanders
David Gunnarsson's previous creation for the Islanders star Rick DiPietro became really popular and talked about. This new design is a direct continuation in the same spirit.

The design is a unique mix of classic and modern layout and airbrush techniques. David always creates his paintings without frames of reference, he always lets his extreme creativity decide and hence creates paintings completely outside the box.

The design is a tribute to Rick's father, who was a helicopter pilot in the Vietnam war. David and Rick discussed back and forth, and out came a plan on how to create the design.

The design is a creation with extremely detailed motifs, painted with latest freehand technique with lots of 3-D thinking as well as old school technique like a classic oil painting. Spiced up with DAVEART XXFX glitter effects, and DAVEART Holographix FX that brings a unique depth to this airbrush painting, where modern airbrush technique meets old school.

Lots of new course dates for 2010 in DAVEART School Of Airbrush

DAVEART School Of Airbrush
2009 was a great year for both DAVEART AirbrushShop and DAVEART School Of Airbrush. Now we are looking forward to an exciting year 2010 with lots of airbrush action in the world of DAVEART!

During 2010 the Nordic's biggest airbrush webshop DAVEART AirbrushShop will celebrate it's 5th anniversary, and we will do it with cool special offers all year long.

And for the super success DAVEART School Of Airbrush we now present lots of new course dates. The Airbrush Power Weekend, with the one-day courses Basic and Step 1 during one single weekend at a package price, was a great hit. Now we have scheduled more Power Weekends during both spring and fall. Of course you can also choose to attend just one of the days as a normal one-day course if you wish.

We also present a completely new course. The Step 2 course is a two-day course for the more experienced painters who want to develop their freehand skills. We dig in to David's specialty, extremely detailed freehand painting on small areas, for example photo-realistic portrait painting. We also focus on increasing the speed of the painting.

We strongly recommend you to book your place as soon as possible. Since we keep the classes small to make sure we have lots of time for every student, the courses can quickly be full-booked. Go to DAVEART School Of Airbrush to learn more and book. You can also check out pictures from all the earlier courses. Welcome to an airbrush adventure!

New York Rangers
For the goalie mask anniversary game in Madison Square Garden on November the 1st New York Rangers wanted an anniversary mask also for Steve Valiquette. David Gunnarsson was honored to get the assignment and picked up the airbrush gun with big excitement.

The New York Rangers team gave David a brief description of how they wanted the design. They wanted it similar to Henrik Lundqvist's anniversary mask but not the same. Henrik's mask is besides the tribute to the original Plante mask also a tribute to Davidson's classic Rangers mask, but on Steve's mask they wanted a tribute to Richter's classic mask instead.
