Gustafsson´s Wild artwork is here…🐧

It is with a great pleasure we present the latest mask artwork for Johan Gustafsson of the Iowa Wild 🌲. We have been working together for many years and it´s always very exciting to create your new masks Johan, so proud to be your artist! 😃

With this mask we wanted to created something really wild, a design that have a look on a distance, and the closer you come the more details you will discover and the mask transforms in front of your eyes…👊

I love to hide messages and paintings into the designs, some of them you can only see when you see the masks live… but here, maybe you can see the fir tree?🌲

And that Pingu looks a bit scared… is he lost in the forest? He always pop up on Johan´s masks, when he was a kid this Pingu was his favorite, and still are! 🐧

Pingu transformed into Wolverine… yes it works :)

Today we have the pleasure to present Johan Gustafsson´s latest artwork for Iowa Wild.

I love to come up with new design solutions day in day out, and this piece was so fun to create. Mix old school graphics with lots of wild effects, so it feels very Wild, so it fit the name of the team :-)

Me and Johan have been working together for so many years, and on all Johan´s masks he always wants the cool cartoon Pingu, the coolest penguin ever… He is an important character from Johan´s childhood. So how would we create Pingu on this Wild mask in the coolest way, well we create Pingu as very wild… and how do we do that? Well we transform him into wolverine!

So I created the mask as a modern old school design, loaded with details to be discovered all of the mask, just love that… and hey what is going on… there comes Pingu Wolverine with his huge claws and just rip the mask into pieces…. holy smokes!
