Birthday party on Varly´s new Avs bucket…🎂

Colorado Avalanche

Semyon Varlamov was sure what he wanted on his new Colorado Avalanche mask. Avalanche celebrates 20 years Anniversary this year, so Varly wanted to pay tribute to that on his new mask. How do we do that, well of course all the cool Frosty guys from his previous masks setup a birthday party in the middle of the Rocky mountains!🎂🍰🎈🎉

So it is full action with the Frosty guys, with birthdaycake hats🎂 and party hats and all kind of cool party stuff…🎉 and check out the balloon🎈one of the Frosty guys are holding, it is shaped like the Vasilij Cathedral… it is all in the details…🔎

The rest of the mask is created in an action packed style which live and breath Colorado Avalanche…👊🏻 and it is snowing…of course❄️... And for sure it is loaded with all the DAVEART Trademark Super FX💎.

Thanks Varly, I love to be your artist!😎🎉

Pickard´s new mask is here, and it glows in the dark... ❄️🗻⛄️

Colorado Avalanche

Today we have the pleasure to present Calvin Pickard´s new Colorado Avalanche mask.❄️

Thanks Calvin, I am so proud to paint for you!😃🎨

The design is a tribute to the legends of the Rocky Mountains, just as the title of the artwork.🗻

On a distance it is a clean cut design that breath Avs to 100%, and among the Rocky Mountains tops on the top of the mask Yeti wanders, you see his foot prints… and he pop up in between the mountain tops…😬

I just love to tell a story on the masks and create them as a story book. When you come closer to the mask it transforms in front of your eyes and becomes a tribute to the five Avs players in the Hockey Hall Of Fame. I just love to paint in different styles and the sides are painted in a bit more dramatical style.🎨

And hey what is going on with Yeti´s eyes… they glows in the dark! Yep it is DAVEART G.L.O.W. FX Tech🔆 :) And of course all the other DAVEART Trademark Super FX💎 is here…

You are welcome to check out the mask in the mask gallery or on our Facebook page. You´ll also find a lot of behind the scene photos on our Instagram, and you´re welcome to follow us also on Twitter.

Thank you all, much more to come!

Watch out in the Rocky Mountains… The Frosty Zombies are back….

Colorado Avalanche

The mask is totally loaded with details all over the mask to tell the saga of the creatures of the Frosty Zombies in the Rocky Mountains.

On Semyon Varlamov´s new Colorado mask the Rocky Mountains grows up on each side of the mask and creates the powerful profile of the amazing mountains… It may look calm… but lok again…. back there behind the mountains some Frosty Zombies climbs up, they look hungry...we recommend to hide!

The design is created as a 2 designs 1, on a distance it is a powerful Avs design. And the closer you come the more details you will discover and the mask enters a new dimension… and then you are so close so you must run so the Zombies won´t catch you…

In the sky in the background it is sparkling stars, and a russin jet of course, just as on Varlamov´s previous masks..

The mask is also loaded with all the exclusive DAVEART trademark effects, among them the incredibly popular DAVEART Hologram FX 2.0.

Me and Semyon have been working together for many years and two(!) Olympics! I am so proud to be your artist Semyon!

You are welcome to check out the mask in the mask gallery or on our Facebook page. You´ll also find a lot of behind the scene photos on our Instagram, and you´re welcome to follow us also on Twitter.

Thank you all, much more to come! :)

Frosty Zombies on Varlamov´s latest Avs mask

Colorado Avalanche

Watch out… there is some Frosty Zombies in the Rocky Mountains… and they look very hungry for flesh… I do not recommend to visit the mountains...

They are coming all over, and they seems to have a very bad breath because it is coming out some kind of smoke from their mouths…

Hey one of the Frosty Zombies seems very, very hungry, he just took a bite from the Avs logo, he looks a bit confused…

And one of the Zombies has a patch on him, he must have put on that before he was transformed into a zombie, because I do not think any Zombies put on patches… :)

And hey check out in the background, one of the mountains is transformed into the famous Russian church Vasilij Cathedral, as a tribute to Varlamov´s mother country.

Just as usual Varlamov is hit by a snowball right on the middle of the face and snow is flying all over… is it a Zombie who threw it?

I love to always come up with new ideas every day and just load the designs with details and 3D effects, and make it into design that works in all angles. For sure the design is created with all the DAVEART trademark effects, and so much more.

I am so proud to be your personal artist Semyon. We have worked together for many years and it is so exciting to paint and create and evolve your masks.

You are welcome to check out the mask in the mask gallery or on our Facebook page. You´ll also find a lot of behind the scene photos on our Instagram, and you´re welcome to follow us also on Twitter.

Thank you all, and again, watch out for the Frosty Zombies…

Avalanche Art of Varlamov

Colorado Avalanche

It´s with a great pleasure we present the new artwork created for Colorado Avalanche´s keeper Semyon #Varlamov. The name of the design is "Avalanche Art of Varlamov".

Me and Semyon have ben working together for many years and it´s always such a pleasure to create the mask designs for you Semyon!

This new #NHL design is built all the way on the Colorado Avalanches logos, in total harmony with the Avs uniforms. We brainstormed different design ideas and the design idea crystallized in our minds and I started to create a design that works in all 360 degrees.

The left side of the mask, closest to the heart, is a tribute to Mother Russia with the double headed russian eagles, and the right side is a tribute to #Colorado #Avalanche and America.

The closer you come the more details you will discover and the design transforms in front of your eyes into a new design. And just as usual the design is loaded with all the #DAVEART trademarks effects and lots and lots of 3D effects and extreme detail work, just what I love to do.. :)

Thanks Semyon, love to be your personal artist, we have been working for so many years and I´m looking forward to many more masks, more to come very soon :)

You are welcome to check out the mask in the mask gallery or on our Facebook page. You´ll also find a lot of behind the scene photos on our Instagram, and you´re welcome to follow us also on Twitter.

Thank you all for your interest in my paintings.

Fast and the Furious in the Rocky Mountains…

Colorado Avalanches

Fast and the Furious in the Rocky Mountains… Yes that is the name of Semyon Varlamov's latest Colorado Avalanches mask. And I can tell you this, I had fun when I created it :-)

Love to be your painter Varly!

It's so fun to wake up every morning and paint in different styles and themes from day to day. Always come up with new characters and looks every day :-)

As you can see it's a continuation of Semyon's previous Avs masks, and the battle between Yeti and Frosty continues… Once again Varly is hit in the face of the mask by a snowball and snow is flying all over….

On the other masks Yeti and Frosty have been fighting with carrots and bazookas and all kind of stuff… this time they are competing in sledding!

Faster than ever they go down from the Rocky Mountains, and this time Frosty has hired his scary cousin Frosty Skull to compete! A snowman looking like a skull and with carrot horns… :-) Frosty himself you see there standing by the side, you see his carrot nose :-)

Just as usual the design is totally loaded with details… Just what I love to do. On the top you will find one of the mountains top shaped as the Vasilij Cathedral, as a tribute to Semyon's homeland. And you also find a russian jet flying…and much, much more.

You are welcome to check out the mask in the mask gallery, in the App or on our Facebook page.

Thank you all for your interest in my painting.

More action in the Rocky Mountains on Varlamov´s new Colorado mask

Colorado Avalanche

Today we have the pleasure to present the Colorado Avalanche keeper Semyon Varlamov´s new mask. It is so exciting to be Semyon´s painter, he always wants designs with a lot of details, just what I love to do.

Semyon was so happy with his last mask so on his new mask he wanted a continuation, and the battle between Yeti and Frosty in the Rocky Mountains continues for sure... I can tell you this, I loved every minute when I created and painted this design. :-)

On the last mask Yeti used a snowball bazooka in his battle against Frosty... now he is trying a new weapon, and I think he is a bit inspired by the Terminator, cause now he comes with a badass rifle just like Terminator... But when Terminator rides a Harley, Yeti instead drives his customized YetiMobile, the Harley doesn´t work in snow... And he also has a Rambo bandana to look extra badass... :-)

But Frosty is not afraid to take the fight, he comes with great speed on his skis, taking protection behind his old school goalie mask... He has thrown away his carrot bazooka for an old hockey stick... And yes you see one more Frosty coming to attack, you see his carrot nose there... :-)

But someone is using the snowball bazooka cause the mask is hit in the face, again...snow is flying all over the place...

In the background you find a lot of details... One of the mountain tops are transformed into a top of the Vasilij Cathedral, and you also find some Russian jets in the sky, just to mention a few of all the details... :-)

You are welcome to check out the mask in the mask gallery, but watch out for the snow...

A funny detail is that in the video Bauer made from my studio you can see some seconds from when I made the prep sketches for the look of Yeti. Check out the video on YouTube.

Thank you.

Snowball bazooka on Varlamov's new Colorado mask

Colorado Avalanche

It's so fun to be Semyon Varlamov's painter. And this Colorado design we created together is just what it is named... Action in the Rocky Mountains! Semyon wanted something action packed with a lot of cool details, and something different... I started to do some sketches...and these dudes started to come to life in my sketches... So why not a cool war between Yeti dudes and Frosty dudes?!

The mask is hit by a snowball right in the middle of the face, and after that it's action all over the mask! Watch out...these characters are some pretty hi tech dudes...not only do they throw snowballs... No, this Yeti he has a Snowball bazooka...and of course, Frosty he has a carrot bazooka...

As you can see I had a lot of fun creating this design for Semyon with a sweet mix of Rocky Mountains and Russia, a lot and a lot of cool details. For example one of the mountain tops are transformed into one of the tops of the Vasilij Cathedral, and you also find a cool russian jet flying there, and much much more...!

Watch out for the snow and check out Semyon Varlamov's Colorado Avalanche mask in the mask gallery, on Facebook or in our App!

Yeti practices dance on Budaj's new Colorado mask

Colorado Avalanche
I had really fun when I painted the NHL star Peter Budaj's new Colorado Avalanche mask. I used the cool foot logo that Colorado has, and created a pattern on the mask, just like dance steps all over the mask, mr Yeti practices dance... But well, he doesn't seem to be that successful, he looks a little bit scared as he shows up on the side... I love to paint much details, and mix it with humor, just like here.

And on the backplate Peter's alter ego shows up, check out who that is in the mask gallery!
