We brainstorm a lot together for each and every new design. I create sketches which we send back and forth, a very creative and fun process.📝

This new design is a truly clean and classic design. Very retro on a distance🚦. A design which live and breath Linköpings HC🎯. Then when you come closer🔎 the mask transforms into a Storyteller mask📚. Rautio´s new Linköping mask is a rock

Today we have the pleasure to unleash the new rocking mask of the Linköping goalie David Rautio.

Me and David have been working together for so many years and it is always so thrilling to create his masks. We do many sketches and send back and forth to each other to evolve the ideas from mask to mask.

I am so proud to be your painter David!

The whole design is built on rocks, white rocks because David wanted a mask with a lot of white. And the closer you come to the design the more the it transforms in front of your eyes, and the Linköping lion emerges in front of your eyes.

And as usual the mask is loaded with all the DAVEART trademark effects and extreme details. Among them the bird Berguv, because that bird is important to David, and you also find a music artist there… very connected to Linköping :)

Högberg transformed into a fighter jet...

In his new SHL mask Marcus Högberg will be transformed into a fighter jet, and not only a fighter jet, it is the Swedish fighter jet JAS 39 Gripen, created in the same city as the team!

In his JAS 30 Gripen mask Marcus will fly in the speed of Mach 2 in the arena of Linköpings HC. The arena with the new name Saab Arena, named after the company building the jets!

I just love to paint details, of course this mask is created with all the same details as the real fighter jet, just check ot all the details and signs :)

I am so proud to be your painter Marcus and we have so many new cool ideas for future design ideas, much more coming up for Marcus :)

Cowabunga! The Turtles are ready in downtown Linköping, and they are not hungry..

It´s big time action in Linköping, Turtles are in town to bring justice… and they are not hungry, they just ate pizza… You find the empty pizza box there by the Linköping wall..

I just love to create details and make the designs into a story, and here on Christian #Engstrand ´s new #LinköpingsHC mask I really got the chance to create it all at the same time.

The turtles are cruising in downtown #Linköping, you find the silhouette of the city buildings, and you will also find close ups of city walls, of course with the cool Linköping lion.

The design is created to fit Linköping´s cool red jersey, I just love that uniform.

The mask is just loaded with details to be discovered all over the mask, just like a treasure map of details :)

Me and Christian have been working for so many years, and it is always Turtles on his masks. I have painted that on all his masks since the 90´s when Christian was a kid :) So proud to be your personal artist Christian :) I remember when I did your first Turtles masks, I used to go to the toy store, just to check out cool Turtles stuff :)

Check out Engstrand´s new Turtles lid

On all masks I´ve painted for Linköpings HC´s keeper Christian Engstrand there have been Ninja Turtes, and that´s many cause Christian and I have been working together since the 90s! :)

It is so fun to always create the Turtles in a new look and style, cause every mask is 100% unique.

The four Turtles are breaking out through the mask made of ice, and hey watch out, seems like one of them is coming very close, and can you see who it is, you see his weapon there up close...and bandana...!

Norrena´s new Växjö mask

The hot summer is here, but the start of the Swedish Elitserien is not that far away... :-) Today we have the pleasure to present my buddy Fredrik Norrena´s new mask look for his new team Växjö Lakers.

I have worked with Fredrik for a decade and it is always so exciting to create his new designs. This design is just as his previuos designs a strong graphic design in old school style, mixed with a lot of top modern 3-D effects and details to be discovered all over the artwork.

Andersson with striped attitude

It is in the middle of the summer, but very soon the Swedish Elitserien will start. :-) Today we have the honor to present Andreas Andersson´s new Linköping mask.

I have been working with Andreas Andersson for 13 years, and so also now with his new team Linköpings HC. Me and Andreas have created a special look for all his masks, so it was very special to create this new mask for his new team.

A strong graphic design, so packed with 3D effects, extreme details, metallic effects and DAVEART Holographic FX, just what I love doing.

Engstrand becomes a Robo Turtle goalie with his new mask

I have painted for Christian Engstrand since he was a child, and we have always painted Turtles on the masks. Then you understand it's much fun to paint his masks. This new design for the upcoming Elitserie season design is created as a so called split design, with different design solutions on each side.

One side is torn apart using nice 3-D effects, revealing a Turtle head in robot style... With this mask on the head Christian becomes a robot Turtle! The other side is a nice layout with the Turtles guys, and big on black background a face of a Turtle. On the top the team name is written with Turtles letters. And as usual everything is created with lots of details and 3-D effects to discover.

And one extra spice on this mask is DAVEART Glow FX with the eyes, teeth and stars painted in luminous colors. It's always fun with details! DAVEART Glow FX is a technique I invented 12 years ago when I painted masks back home, and have developed during the years.
