Vokoun's new Penguins mask in old school style

Pittsburgh Penguins

Today we have the pleasure to present Tomas Vokoun's new #NHL mask.

His new #Pittsburgh #Penguins mask is created in a classic old school style, just what I love to create, and a lot of detail work, just what I love to create It is so exciting to come up with and create new designs every day.

I'm so proud to be your personal artist Tomas!

The design is created as a so called 2 in 1 design. When you come closer you will discover more and more details, and the old school design transforms in front of your eyes, totally loaded with hidden messages.

And just as usual the design is loaded with all the #DAVEART trademark effects.

You are welcome to check out the mask in the mask gallery or on our Facebook page. You´ll also find a lot of behind the scene photos on our Instagram, and you´re welcome to follow us also on Twitter.

Vokoun's Penguins mask for the alternate jersey is made of metal

Pittsburgh Penguins

I am very happy to present Pittsburgh Penguins keeper Tomas Vokoun's latest mask. This design is custom made for Penguins' alternate jersey.

The classic penguin with the scarf in focus, and the rest of the design built around it, and it's all made of metal, as a tribute to the city of Pittsburgh... It was such a joy to create this design. Love to be your painter Tomas.

The whole design is made with lots of old school feeling. From a distance it is a clean and classic look, and the closer you come the more details you will discover and the mask transforms in front of your eyes. As the mask is painted as it is made of metal you find metal details and rivets all over the mask.

The design is fully loaded with special FX like GhostSmoke, 3-D PaintTech, Metallic FX and Holographix FX and much more.

You're all welcome to check it out. Thanks for your interest.

Zatkoff’s new Penguins mask

Pittsburgh Penguins

Jeff Zatkoff’s new Pittsburgh Penguins mask is a continuation from Jeff’s previous designs built on the team logos mixed with a lot of effects and extreme detail work. From a distance it is a crisp look, but when you come closer the action kicks in... :-)

Behind the clean look you will find a treasure map of detail work, with effects like Holographix FX, Metallic FX, GhostSmoke and much much more. Among the details you will find rivets, as a cool tribute to the steel industry of the town.

Love to work with you Jeff! We have been working together for many years and I’m looking forward to many more. :-)

Check out Zatkoff’s Penguins mask in the mask gallery. Thank you all for checking out my paint.

Vokoun´s new mask is a tribute to the city of Pittsburgh

Pittsburgh Penguins

Today we have the pleasure to present the new mask of Tomas Vokoun and his new team Pittsburgh Penguins.

I had so fun when I created this design. It is all built on the awesome Penguins logos and the whole design is created as a so called 2 in 1 design. From a distance it is a clear old school design with strong contrasts, and the closer you come the more and more details you will discover and the mask enters a new dimension. And when you come really close you discover the mask is made of steel, with rivets and stuff, as a tribute to the city of Pittsburgh and the steel industry.

It was such a joy to create this design, and I really love to do so much details and special FX and much more. Welcome to check out Tomas Vokoun´s Pittsburgh Penguins mask in the mask gallery on the website, or on our Facebook page or in our App.

Thank you for your interest.

Modig’s graphic Penguins design

Pittsburgh Penguins
It was very exciting to create this distinct and clear graphical Penguins design for Mattias Modig. The design is completely based on logos and has a strong connection to the team uniform, with strong contrasts and spiced up with a maximum of 3-D effects. The white wire pops out and becomes an element of its own in the design.
