Pasquale’s new mask

Winnipeg Jets

I’m very happy to present the new mask artwork for Winnipeg Jets’ Eddie Pasquale. The last mask I made for Eddie was a tribute to one of his favorite country singers, and this new mask is also a tribute to another of his favorite country singers. :-)

Just as usual the mask is pumped with so much details, just what I love doing. The closer you come to the mask the more details you will discover.

You’re welcome to check out Pasquale’s Jets mask on the site or on our Facebook page, and in the App of course.

I love to paint for you Eddie!

Thank you all for your interest in my paint. :-)

A mask from a sandstorm...

Phoenix Coyotes

And today we have the pleasure to present yet another mask for Phoenix Coyotes. :-) It´s so fun to paint for many goalies in the same team, to paint and create in totally different styles and themes and make every mask artwork 100% unique. This mask comes directly from a sandstorm in the Arizona desert…!

This mask is for Mike Lee, I love to be your painter Mike.

The mask is created as an old school design, with so much detail work... And to give it a cool connection to Arizona we created it with effects to make it look like it has been in the wildest Arizona sandstorm ever... Damages and scratches all over the mask create cool effects and a unique look.

And just as usual when you look close at the mask the real action kicks in and you see all the effects used…like 3-D PaintTech, Holographix FX, Metallic FX, GhostSmoke and mucho mucho more… :-)

Take a look at Mike Lee's Coyotes mask in the mask gallery and on Facebook. Thanks for your interest in my paint!

Wile E Pirate is here...!

Phoenix Coyotes

Watch out...seems like Wile E Coyote...oops sorry, I mean Wile E Pirate is ready for some action. Players, beware...!

The whole mask is made of sandstone, and on the right side it looks kind of calm and nice... But on the other side it is action to the max... Wile E Pirate is breaking through the Arizona sandstone wall with his pirate sword and hook... Stuff is flying all over. Beware all you players out there, we do not recommend getting close to him... :-)

Louis Domingue thought it could be a cool idea to dress up a coyote as a pirate on the mask, to mix the teams Coyotes and Portland Pirates... I loved the idea and setup a plan, I got green light from Louis and I started to work.

Louis, it was such awesome feeling to create this design for you and pump it with details to discover all over the mask.

Welcome to check out Domingue’s Coyotes mask, if you dare... Thanks!

Johnson's mask pays tribute to the wildlife of Arizona

Phoenix Coyotes

Today we present one more Phoenix Coyotes mask, and this one is for Chad Johnson. Love to work with you Chad!

Chad wanted a classic design in retro feeling, and from a distance it looks just like that. But the closer you come the more you will discover, and the mask transforms in front of your eyes into a mask that pays tribute to the fantastic wildlife of Arizona.

When I visited Arizona I was so incredibly fascinated by the cool wildlife, and I just couldn't stop thinking of those rattlesnakes, we don't have those here in the forests in Sweden... :-) When you look closely all over the mask you will discover that the white base is created as the skin of a rattlesnake... And not only that, you also find paw prints of a coyote running all over the mask, and so much more...

Check out Chad's Phoenix Coyotes mask in the mask gallery, on Facebook or in our App. Thank you all for your interest in my paint!

Mark’s mask is a time traveller with a twist...

Phoenix Coyotes

Mark Visentin’s new Phoenix mask is a traveller in time with the retro look, all built on the cool Phoenix logos, but it’s all created in a new way with a special twist…

I made some test drawings and the plan to mix the old school style with top modern effects and layout worked out great. I started the work with great enthusiasm.

From a distance there’s a crisp look, and when you come closer the action kicks in. :-) Behind the clean look you will join a joyride of detail work, with effects like Holographix FX, Metallic FX, GhostSmoke and much much more.

Welcome to check out Mark Visentin’s Phoenix mask in the mask gallery, in the DAVEART App and on the social networks. :-) I’m very happy to work with you Mark!

Vintage art of Mezin

Traktor Chelyabinsk

Traktor Vintage is the name of Andrei Mezin’s new KHL mask for his new team Traktor Chelyabinsk. It was very interesting to create this new design for you Andrei. An old school design based on the logos, created in all the latest DAVEART features...

But it is all created in such a cool vintage style so it all looks like the mask is old and used and worn out...scratches all over the mask create cool effects on a brand new mask... The mask is so old and so used that you even find rust runs from the screws all over...

Welcome to check out Andrei Mezin’s detail-filled vintage mask art in the mask gallery. Thank you all for your interest.

Fransson goes old school

Rögle BK

Today we have the honor to present Jonas Fransson´s new Rögle mask. I have been working with Jonas for many, many years, more than a decade... I remember the very first mask we did together back in the 90´s. Jonas came to my mom and dad´s house with his mom and dad, yes we were young back then... :-) The design was a crazy living egg splash with big eyes...lots of action...

On this new mask there’s no crazy eggs...Now we went old school with Rögle´s beautiful logos. A crisp and clean design when you look at the mask from a distance, but when you come closer you will go on a joyride of extreme detail work all over the mask. You will find DAVEART Holographix FX, DAVEART 3-D Paint Tech, Metallic FX by DAVEART, DAVEART GhostSmoke, DAVEART Vintage Tech and much more...

Welcome to check it out in the mask gallery and in the App. Thank you all.

Jack’s mask is a theme of Jack

Dallas Stars

Today we have the pleasure to present Jack Campbell’s new Dallas Stars mask. This new mask is very special, it is a mix of Dallas Stars and Jack’s name, in a new way... :-)

Jack’s trainer Brian is an awesome artist and he sent me some of his drawings, I just followed his drawings and the design was created... :-)

The whole mask is a theme of Jack, and you find it all in this extremely detailed design. The Jack card is jumping up on the side, of course holding a gun since we are in cowboy land... The top of the mask is transformed into a Black Jack table...and the poker chips in Dallas green and Jack’s number are flying all over the mask...

The whole mask is an adventure ride of details connected to Jack, check out the Dallas logo on the side, in that logo you find the Team USA logo and also the Texas State Capitol, and so much other details all over...on the backplate the ride continues with some Campbell soup... :-)

Welcome to check out Jack Campbell’s Dallas Stars mask here in the mask gallery.

Jack, I love to paint for you! :-)

Thank you all for your interest.

To the Fantastic Fans of Flyers

Philadelphia Flyers

To the Fantastic Fans of Flyers, yes that is the name of Michael Leighton's new Philadelphia Flyers mask. Me and Michael have been working together for many years and it is always such a pleasure to create his new designs.

For this new mask Michael had an awesome idea, he wanted the mask to be a tribute to the fantastic fans of Flyers, and especially the cool guys in orange body suits. So they are popping up on the sides waving with Philly flags, and check out in the Flyers logo on each side, there you find the whole arena filled with the fantastic fans! As usual I love to pump the design with so much details and all kind of effects to discover.

The clean and graphic base design is a story of its own, I have so many memories from it. I came up with the design back in 1993... I remember it very well, later on that evening we went to cinema to watch Jurassic Park! On the train from Sävsjö to Nässjö, on the way to school, I was just as usual thinking out new mask design ideas. I always save all my sketches and design ideas, and now, 19 years later, I could use this design cause it matched Michael’s ideas perfectly... :-)

Check out Leighton's new Philadelphia Flyers mask in the mask gallery, on Facebook and in our App!

Thank you all for your interest in my paint!

Hutchinson got a new look

Boston Bruins

Today we have the pleasure to present the new Boston Bruins mask artwork for Michael Hutchinson. Welcome to us Michael, I am proud to be your artist. :-)

It was such a joy to create Bruins Origin, it's the name of this custom made artwork. I love to think outside the box and every day come up with new design solutions. Every mask I create is 100% unique.

Michael contacted me early and wanted me to create his new mask look. I was very honored and I started to brainstorm new ideas at once.

The design is all built on the awesome Bruins logos and uniform and the whole design is created as a so called 2 in 1 design. From a distance it is a clear old school vintage design with strong contrasts, but the closer you come the more and more details you will discover, and the mask enters a new dimension.

And when you come really close you discover extreme detail work with vintage artworks, 3-D FX, metallic FX, Holographix FX, GhostSmoke and much more. I just love to create details and designs within designs.

Welcome to check out Hutchinson's new Boston Bruins mask, you will find it all over, in the mask gallery on the site, on social networks Facebook and Flickr and in the DAVEART App...! Thank you all for visiting my site and checking out my paintings! Take care.

Stars’n stripes on Anderson’s new lid

Washington Capitals

The name of Washingtons Capitals’ Brandon Anderson’s new mask artwork is DC, and that is an obvious name because it’s a tribute to the city of Washington. With a totally unique layout we used the Capitals logos and mixed them with stars’n stripes, and so much details, and the result is a totally new look.

From a distance it’s a razor sharp design, and the closer you come to the mask it transforms into a totally new experience in front of your eyes.

Welcome to check out Brandon Anderson’s Capitals mask in the mask gallery and on all the other places like Facebook and the App... :-)

Brandon, I’m proud to be your painter. :-)

Thank you all for checking it out and for your interest in my paint, it’s a dream come true for me.

Jeremy’s mask is a time machine

Nashville Predators

Today we have the pleasure to present a time machine mask. We built Jeremy Smith’s new Nashville Predators design inspired by the very first mask designs from the 70s with the very bold, crisp and old school looks, all built on the team logos and clear colors, and we mixed that with the modern and cool Predators logos.

I made some test sketches and the plan worked perfect and I went to work. From a distance it is a crisp look, but when you come closer the action kicks in... :-)

Behind the clean look you will find a treasure map of detail work, with effects like Holographix FX, Metallic FX, GhostSmoke and much more. I can tell you I had fun when I painted this one. :-) Love to work with you Jeremy!

Welcome to check out Jeremy Smith’s Nashville mask in the mask gallery, on Facebook or in the DAVEART App.

Beware...it's a werewolf on the loose...

Minnesota Wild

Watch out, we have heard rumors it´s a werewolf or something running wild in the Minnesota forests...

If you don´t believe us...check out this old school mask, it´s totally torn into pieces by some badass claws... That is what we call a wild mask, wild as in Minnesota Wild... Stay indoor until this creature is captured.

Welcome to check out Minnesota Wild goalie Matt Hackett´s new mask if you dare...

I love to go crazy on all the details and effects. The closer you get the more details you will discover, and the mask transforms in front of your eyes, if you dare to come so close...

Matt, I had so fun when I created your Wild mask! Proud to work with you. :)

Thank you all for your interest!

Batman continues on Nihlstorp´s Stars mask

Dallas Stars

I have been working with Cristopher Nihlstorp for many years, and on all his mask this cartoony Batman hero shows up, it´s his childhood hero. So for sure he shows up here on his first Stars mask!

Me and Cristopher talked a lot during the summer how to create it, Cristopher wanted a dark mask, and quickly a plan crystallized with a design with a dark scary feeling all over the mask, with Batman showing up guarding over the Dallas City skyline.

You who have followed Nihlstorp´s mask history recognize a lot of details that connect to his previous mask designs.

Just as usual it is totally packed with effects and details, metallic effects and custom made DAVEART Holographics, just what I love to create. :-)

Thank you all for your interest. You are welcome to check out the mask in the mask gallery, App and Facebook...

Take care.

Watch out, Delmas becomes a drooling mummy...!

Montreal Canadiens

Watch out! With this mask on Peter Delmas of the Montreal Canadiens becomes a drooling mummy goalie!

The mask is transformed into a mummy head... a scary one... and this mummy wants to play hockey as you can see, cause he have put on an old school goalie mask, and it is not just a mask, it is a real classic Habs mask... do you recognize it...?

Peter wanted a scary and action packed design, with some humor, and insane details... We started brainstorming... I love this process how to come up with new unique ideas and solutions, day in day out... And out from my airbrush guns this mummy jumped!

We´ll see if the players dare to come close to this mummy, so much is going on there, you find spiders, and a really scary Egyptian scarab beetle! And if the players dare to come really close they will find Egyptian hieroglyphs in the mask! Welcome to a journey of discoveries!

If you´re not afraid of spiders and stuff, check out Peter Delmas´ Canadiens mask in the mask gallery and all over our social network and App!
