Vintage art of Mezin

Traktor Chelyabinsk

Traktor Vintage is the name of Andrei Mezin’s new KHL mask for his new team Traktor Chelyabinsk. It was very interesting to create this new design for you Andrei. An old school design based on the logos, created in all the latest DAVEART features...

But it is all created in such a cool vintage style so it all looks like the mask is old and used and worn out...scratches all over the mask create cool effects on a brand new mask... The mask is so old and so used that you even find rust runs from the screws all over...

Welcome to check out Andrei Mezin’s detail-filled vintage mask art in the mask gallery. Thank you all for your interest.

Mezin honors his friend

Andrei Mezin

It was such an honor for me to create Andrei Mezin´s new Team Belarus mask. Andrei wanted to create a tribute design for his friend Ruslan Salei. Ruslan played for the Russian team Lokomotiv Yaroslavl that was involved in the so tragical plane crash in 2011.

I talked a lot with Andrei and his wife Angela about how to create the design. It is full of details and messages, details that can´t even be seen in the photos. In the Lokomotiv logo we created the names of all the players of the team.

Thank you Andrei and Angela for letting me be a part of the creating of this mask, it was very, very special for me.

Welcome to check out the mask in the mask gallery, on Facebook or in the App. Thank you.

A big green monster on Mezin’s mask

Team Belarus
It was much fun to paint the mask for the Team Belarus star Andrei Mezin and transform the entire mask to green cartoony monster, with strong contrasts and a big classically gaping jaw... Either he’s ready for fight or he’s just very hungry...! As usual I love to paint much details, details that aren’t even visible on the photos. And all this together create cool 3-D effects giving depth.
