NHL star Pekka Rinne's new splatter design

Nashville Predators
It's always much fun to paint a new mask design for Nashville Predators star keeper Pekka Rinne. He's always open for new cool ideas and we can let loose and play. This design goes in same spirit as his previous masks with a graphic touch and claw effects from Preds... That gives cool contrasts, always important.

The design is painted to fit with all three Nashville jerseys, also the third where the logo has a red eye, check it out on the mask! I just love to paint details and 3-D effects, and here I really got the opportunity to do it. Check out the mask in DAVEART MaskGallery!

Clint Eastwood rules on Lehtonen's new Dallas mask

Dallas Stars
Can you have a more cool theme than Clint Eastwood on a hockeymask? The answer is no. Kari wanted cowboy theme on his new Dallas mask, and out of David's and Kari's discussions this design idea came.

The whole design is created as an old fashion film poster for a cowboy film. On one side we see Mr Eastwood motifs created in sepia look and golden tints, one with a young Clint and one with a slightly older. The design is created with a fantastic depth, strongly inspired by Eastwood's films, in particular the great film Unforgiven.
