Cristopher Nihlstorp and I have been working together for more than a decade. And on every new mask his childhood hero Batman have always showed up in one way or the other…🎨

When we were about to start on this mask we brainstormed together in my studio. This time Christopher wanted Batman created in a more old school way. Around that we created a design filled with details picked by Christopher.🎯

The closer you come the more details you will discover, and the mask transforms into The Nihlstorp Code.🔎 The design is created in total sync with the Växjö uniform, and the matte look gives the design a nice old school feeling.

Of course the design is loaded with all the DAVEART Trademark Super FX💎.

Nihlstorp´s new Växjö mask is a tribute to the passion of hockey

Today I have the pleasure to present the new mask artwork for the new Växjö Lakers goalie Cristopher Nihlstorp.

Nihlstorp´s new artwork is created in a classic style with strong contrasts, a design that is a tribute to the passion of hockey. Växjö´s crest in the middle and around it a symphony of detail work. The design is inspired by Växjö´s uniform and the crest.

And on the side is Batman back, it is a tribute to Cristopher´s childhood. Me and Cristopher have been working together for very many years, and on most of the masks that cartoony Batman pop up :)

Nihlstorp´s new Dallas bucket is here

It´s with a pleasure we present the new artwork created for the Dallas Stars keeper Cristopher #Nihlstorp.

This new #NHL design is built all the way on the new #DallasStars logos, in total harmony with the new Stars uniform. Always so exciting to work with new NHL logos. During summer we brainstormed different design ideas, me and Cristopher always talks a lot for every new design we create together. This idea crystallized in our minds and I started to create.

The closer you come the more details you will discover and the design transforms in front of your eyes into a new design. And just as usual the design is loaded with all the #DAVEART trademarks effects.

Beware, it's a Raptor on the loose in Texas...

Nothing can hold this Raptor back.... not even a mask made of metal... With his insane claws he is ripping out... and behind the mask he shows his real personality.

Cristopher feels like a Raptor when he plays, and he always has a connection to Raptors on his masks, now more than ever...

Me and Cristopher has been working together for so many years. And for sure Batman shows up again just as on his previous masks, but this time on the backplate.

Batman continues on Nihlstorp´s Stars mask

I have been working with Cristopher Nihlstorp for many years, and on all his mask this cartoony Batman hero shows up, it´s his childhood hero. So for sure he shows up here on his first Stars mask!

Me and Cristopher talked a lot during the summer how to create it, Cristopher wanted a dark mask, and quickly a plan crystallized with a design with a dark scary feeling all over the mask, with Batman showing up guarding over the Dallas City skyline.

You who have followed Nihlstorp´s mask history recognize a lot of details that connect to his previous mask designs.

Just as usual it is totally packed with effects and details, metallic effects and custom made DAVEART Holographics, just what I love to create. :-)
