Cambell´s pays tribute to Chris Kyle ⭐️

Dallas Stars

Jack Campbell was sure what he wanted on his new mask. He told it to me already last winter, and I started to brainstorm and sketch how it could be done.⭐️

Jack wanted to pay tribute to the Navy Seal Chris Kyle, also called The Legend. Known from his book American Sniper. I read the book about his life and I started to plan how the design could be created.

Both Jack and I wanted the design to be very worthy, and true tribute to Chris Kyle. A mask to be proud of.⭐️

We decided to create the mask in this style; a worthy, elegant design, with a vintage touch. All created in black and white, with some vintage coloring.🎨

The layout we created as a Storyteller design📚. One side connected to the team, and the other side a tribute to Chris Kyle. I painted the design in a mix of airbrush and also old school brush. I love to mix paint techniques when I paint, to reach the goals for every new unique painting.🎨

Thanks Jack, I am so proud to be your artist, and thank you for your trust in my art to create your visions.😊

Campbell pays tribute to an American hero

Dallas Stars

Jack Campbell of the Dallas Stars had such an awesome idea for his new mask. He contacted me early and we started to discuss and brainstorm how to make his ideas into a reality.

Jack wanted to make a design that is a tribute to the American hero Marcus Luttrell. Marcus Luttrell is a former United States Navy SEAL, who received the Navy Cross and Purple Heart for his actions in June 2005 facing Taliban fighters during Operation Red Wings. Marcus is born and raised in Texas.

Maybe you have seen the Hollywood movie Lone Survivor with Mark Wahlberg starring Marcus Luttrell.

The design is created with Marcus and his friends on the sides, and the stripes in Dallas colors on the sides together with the many small Dallas Stars on the top are inspired by the US flag. And the whole design is created in a vintage and well-worn dirty style with insane detail work. I just love details.

I love to tell a story with my paintings, and often I see myself more of a storyteller than a painter. The closer you come to this design the more details will open up and the story just begins.

And of course all the DAVEART trademark effects is here.

I am so proud to be your painter Jack!

JFK tribute on Campbell´s new mask

Dallas Stars

Today we have the pleasure to present #DallasStars young super talent and my friend Jack Campbell´s latest #NHL mask art. It is always such a pleasure to create the mask art for you Jack, so proud to be your personal artist.

Jack #Campbell wanted a very patriotic design, 100% american as he is… We wanted to do a patriotic design in a new way, we started to brainstorm. What can be more american than a President design, and more precise a tribute to the legendary American President John F Kennedy.

It was very exciting to create this design and mix the Dallas Stars theme and colors with a worthy artwork of JFK. In the middle is JFK when he is working in The Oval Office. The closer you come the more details you will discover, it is a like a 2 in 1 design. Among all the details you will also find his most famous quoted speech, and also the USS John F. Kennedy, and for sure the Presidential seal. I just love to create details.

As usual it is loaded with all the #DAVEART trademark effects, such as #3DPaintTech, #MetallicFX, #HolographixFX, #NanoDetailPaintTech, just to name a few…

Jack’s mask is a theme of Jack

Dallas Stars

Today we have the pleasure to present Jack Campbell’s new Dallas Stars mask. This new mask is very special, it is a mix of Dallas Stars and Jack’s name, in a new way... :-)

Jack’s trainer Brian is an awesome artist and he sent me some of his drawings, I just followed his drawings and the design was created... :-)

The whole mask is a theme of Jack, and you find it all in this extremely detailed design. The Jack card is jumping up on the side, of course holding a gun since we are in cowboy land... The top of the mask is transformed into a Black Jack table...and the poker chips in Dallas green and Jack’s number are flying all over the mask...

The whole mask is an adventure ride of details connected to Jack, check out the Dallas logo on the side, in that logo you find the Team USA logo and also the Texas State Capitol, and so much other details all over...on the backplate the ride continues with some Campbell soup... :-)

Welcome to check out Jack Campbell’s Dallas Stars mask here in the mask gallery.

Jack, I love to paint for you! :-)

Thank you all for your interest.

Jack Campbell turns into Captain America

Team USA

I am very honored to be Team USA´s goalie Jack Campbell´s official painter. Today we have the pleasure to present his Team USA mask. I was so happy when Jack wanted me to do his Team USA mask for the Junior World Championship, such an honor.

We talked about different cool ideas, and what could be more cool for a Team USA mask than to have Captain America on it? Oh man, it was so fun to paint it. I mixed the design with paintings from both the movie and the comic, it´s a tribute to both the older Captain America fans that read the comic and younger fans that are more familiar with the movie.

It was also extra special for me to paint this mask because Stan Lee is one of my biggest idols, when I got his autograph I was totally blown away. This mask is also a tribute to him.

In focus of the mask in the middle is the letter A, when Jack puts the mask on he turns into Captain America and Team USA is actually having Captain America in the net.

Just as usual I love to spend time creating lots of details to be discovered all over the mask. It was so fun to paint it. Thanks Jack for being your painter and friend.

You´re all welcome to check out Jack Campbell's Team USA mask in the mask gallery or in the App, or on Facebook. Thanks for your interest.
