Holtby´s Hockey Fights Cancer mask 💪🏻❤️

Washington Capitals

Today we have the pleasure to present Braden Holtby´s Hockey Fights Cancer mask.❤️

It is very, very special for me to create the HFC masks and I am very proud about it.😊🎨

The design is a direct continuation of Braden´s current Caps mask, but all created in the HFC color of purple.✨

And just as usual, the closer you come to the mask the more details you will discover🔎, and the mask transforms in front of your eyes.

Thanks Braden, I am so proud to be your artist!😊

Of course the design is also loaded with all the DaveArt Trademark Super FX💎, hidden in between all the vintage effects.

You are welcome to check out the mask in the mask gallery or on our Facebook page. You´ll also find a lot of behind the scene photos on our Instagram, and you´re welcome to follow us also on Twitter.

Holtby´s interacticve mask…💻

Washington Capitals

Today we have the pleasure to present the latest chapter in Braden Holtby´s mask history.⭐️

Just like on Braden´s Winter Classic mask Uncle Sam pop up on the mask, a perfect fit for a goalie in the Capital city.

And the design is not only a time machine with the old school wibes, it is also an interactive design 💻... When you look at the paintings on the sides through a camera 📷 and invert the colors... it transforms in front of your eyes and Uncle Sam emerges again… We have added extra inverted photos to show…. 😬🎨

The mask truly breath Washington Capitals to 100% and on a distance the design is in total harmony with the Capitals uniform.

When you come closer to the mask it opens up like a storybook. I love to create designs which also are a storyteller📖.

As usual the design is loaded with all the DAVEART Trademark Super FX💎 all over the mask, waiting to be discovered.

Thanks Braden, I am so proud to be your personal mask artist.😃

You are welcome to check out the mask in the mask gallery or on our Facebook page. You´ll also find a lot of behind the scene photos on our Instagram, and you´re welcome to follow us also on Twitter.

Holtby´s NHL Winter Classic mask...❄⛄

Washington Capitals

Today we have the pleasure to present Braden Holtby´s NHL Winter Classic 2015 mask

It was such a joy to create this piece for you Braden. Braden and me have worked together for many years. Braden had such a cool idea, he told me he wanted to pay tribute to the greatest Capitals goalie, Olaf Kolzig. I just loved his ideas.

The design is inspired by Olaf Kolzig´s early clean design from the 90´s, created by Dennis Simone. Me and Braden transformed it into a clean cut Winter Classic design. We wanted the design to feel very old school, so Uncle Sam on the top is not created with airbrush, I painted it with a normal brush, to give the design that old school vibe. I love to paint in different styles from mask to mask.

On a distance it is a clean cut design in total harmony with the Winter Classic uniform, and the closer you come the more details you will discover and the mask transforms in front of your eyes and becomes a Storyteller design. Among all the details you will find Kolzig´s name and number and much more, details you can only see when you see the mask live

EPIX also visited me in my studio when I created the mask, check it out on the TV show ”The Road to the NHL Winter Classic”.

Just as usual the design is loaded with all the DAVEART Trademark Super FX.

You are welcome to check out the mask in the mask gallery or on our Facebook page. You´ll also find a lot of behind the scene photos on our Instagram, and you´re welcome to follow us also on Twitter.

Thank you all, much more to come!

Washington Capitals

Today we have the pleasure to present Washington Capitals keeper Braden Holtby's Hockey Fight Cancer mask.

It was a great honour and so very special for me to create this mask, in so many ways... It is very personal for me. It is lovely to see how our love for hockey can help us in the battle against cancer.

The design is created in the same artistic atmosphere as Braden's previous Caps masks, but also created in a very unique way, with the purple in focus. Every mask I create is always 100% unique and I love to always come up with new design solutions :)

The design is created as a treasure map of details.. The closer you come the more details you will discover... And of course all the DAVEART trademark super FX is here..

Holtby´s latest DC artwork is inspired by the freedom of the american bald eagle

Washington Capitals

It´s with a great pleasure we present the latest DC mask artwork for Washington Capitals keeper Braden Holtby.

Me and Braden have been working together for many years, it is so exciting to be your painter and evolve your mask art from year to year. So proud to be your painter Braden! :)

This new design is a continuation of Braden´s previous mask design which was a great success. A mask design in old school style totally built on the foundation of the awesome logos and uniforms of the Capitals, and inspired by the freedom of the american bald eagle. It cannot be more DC than that..

The painting is a treasure map of details, just what I love to create and paint, and all the DAVEART trademark effects is here of course :)

Holtby´s old school design is here

Washington Capitals

I am very proud to present Washington Capitals keeper Braden Holtby´s latest #NHL mask artwork, named "Number 70 of the Capitals".

It was very exciting to create this old school piece. I came up with the design an early summer morning. The goal was a design that delivers in all angles.

The whole design is built on Capitals third uniform. On a distance the design is a clean classic design in total sync with the uniform, and the closer you come #Holtby ´s artwork it is transforming into a full-blown tribute to the Capital city of America.

I just love to create details, and the american bald eagles painted in this #Washington #Capitals design is the key to explore the design.

Braden, I just love to paint for you and be your personal artist and evolve and explore your mask designs, thank you!

The design is loaded with all the #DAVEART trademark effects, such as #3DPaintTech, #MetallicFX, #Holographics, #NanoDetailPaintTech and so much more.

You are welcome to check out the mask in the mask gallery or on our Facebook page. You´ll also find a lot of behind the scene photos on our Instagram, and you´re welcome to follow us also on Twitter.

Please, do not feed the animal

Washington Capitals

Braden Holtby wanted his new Washington Capitals mask to be something truly unique.. So we transformed it into a birdcage :)

"Please, do not feed the animal", yes it is what the sign on the birdcage says, and that is also our strongest recommendation…

This bald eagle must be really dangerous, cause it is not only in a birdcage, the birdcage is also a quarantine…. He seems infected by something dangerous, he is drooling… Or he is just very mad… Lucky us that birdcage looks quite strong, and the padlock seems pretty strong… But we can´t be sure… Stay away…

I can tell you this, I had very fun when I created this creature. Always exciting to come up with new and total custom ideas every day and transform masks into something else… And just as usual this #Washington #Capitals mask for #BradenHoltby is loaded with all the #DAVEART trademark effects, such as #Holographics, #MetallixFX, #3DPaintTech, #GhostSmoke, #NanoDetailPaintTech, just what I love to create… :) The closer you come, the more details you will discover.

Braden and me have been working together for many years and it´s always such a joy. Thanks Braden, love to be your personal artist! :-)

You are welcome to check out the mask in the mask gallery or on our Facebook page. You´ll also find a lot of behind the scene photos on our Instagram, and you´re welcome to follow us also on Twitter.

The Capitol Mask is the name of Holtby’s new mask

Washington Capitals

Today we have the honor to present the new Washington Capitals artwork for Braden Holtby. When we created this one me and Braden brainstormed a lot about new cool ideas, we wanted it to breathe Washington DC in a classic way.

Soon this design idea crystallized. With this artwork we travel back in time and create an old school feeling all over the mask, and it is all based on the team logos and hidden details.

From a distance it is a retro design in calm harmony...and when you come closer you will discover a treasure map of detail work, and in the white base you find what has named the artwork, the Capitol building of Washington.

And for sure the design is created with all kind of special effects and details, just what I love.

Love to work with you Braden and being your painter.

You’re all welcome to check out Braden Holtby’s Capitals mask in the gallery on the site, on Facebook or in the App.

Thank you all.

Holtby's mask transformed into a rollercoaster ride...

Washington Capitals

How about transforming a mask into a rollercoaster ride? Sounds like fun! Braden Holtby had an awesome idea to put a rollercoaster ride on his mask, cause in Hershey there is a sweet amusement park. So I came up with this design with a mix of Hershey and Caps theme... :-)

Since it's a Hershey mask it's a bear in the ride, and the ride is running with super speed all over the mask. Hey, thats a really cool bear, he thinks the ride is nothing, he's just sitting there whistling...

The bear is also, of course, a goalie bear... his facemask is flying off in the high speed ride. And not only that, maybe the bear looks kind, but look again... this goalie bear is a real badass bear... :-) He has a black eye, bruises and scars... He must have been in a number of fights... Don't mess with him...

Everything painted with lots and lots of details and 3-D effects, just us a usual. The ride I created as an old school ride made of wood...

Holtby's new mask design

Washington Capitals
Today we have the great pleasure to present the Washington Capitals keeper Braden Holtby's latest mask. He was really happy with his previous mask design, so we continued in the same spirit on the new one, why change a winning concept... ;-) This design has a closer connection to the AHL team Hershey Bears, with maroon red base color and a bear instead of the eagle, but again the design has been created as it's made of ice and snow.

The growling bear breaks out of the ice in full action on one side. The maroon color in the bottom, the bright ice and the bear give perfect contrasts. As usual I have painted a maximum of 3-D effects and details, just what I really enjoy doing.

Check out the mask design in MaskGallery, on Facebook or in our DAVEART App!

Holtby's Caps mask with furious eagle in action

Washington Capitals
Another NHL mask to present! This time it's a design with a classic Caps theme featuring an eagle, and with lots of action! The eagle breaks out of Braden's icy mask with cool 3-D effects and lots of details. A design that delivers both in close-up and from a long distance.
