In Skellefteå in the north of Sweden you can find gold mines.... So this must be some kind of a hungry monster coming from these mines...😱

Erik Hanses knew what he wanted on his new Skellefteå mask👊🏻... He wanted a golden monster, sliming all over the mask like crazy liquid in cartoon style💪🏻...

I had a lot of fun when I created this liquid piece...😎

Svensson´s new Skellefteå mask has a raw look

Today we have the pleasure to present the latest mask artwork for my friend Markus Svensson.👊🏻💥

Markus is from Småland in Sweden just like I, and I remember when Markus was a kid and followed the big goalies of his team Oskarshamn to my studio when I painted their masks. And now is Markus himself a big boy playing in the SHL. It is awesome to follow the goalies careers… and I feel old..😊

Markus new mask follows in the same line as his previous masks. It is very old school, and a rough and raw look with vintage effects and splatter effects. The matte finish of the mask gives the design that extra raw look and fit the black perfect.🎨

Just as usual the design is loaded with details all over the mask to tell the story of Markus Svensson📚. The skull on the top is a tribute to his new home of Skellefteå. And just as usual all the DAVEART Trademark Super FX💎 is here.

Hanses is transformed into a reindeer in his new mask...

Erik Hanses new Skellefteå mask is a tribute to the north of Sweden, and Erik knew exactly what he wanted. He wanted reindeers on his mask, or more exact, he will become a reindeer with this mask on.

The reindeer´s antlers use most of the space on this mask, and it gives the mask the perfect name; The Antlers Mask… I love the challenge to come up with new design ideas day in day out :)

The closer you come to the design the more details you will discover, and the design transforms in front of your eyes and enters a new dimension…

The Swedish Champ mask is here...

I am very proud to present the Swedish Champs Skellefteå AIK's goalie Markus Svensson's new SHL mask. The design is a tribute to the wildlife of the North of Sweden, all created in total harmony with the uniform and a rising SAIK sun…

It is always so exciting to paint and create for you Markus! I remember when Markus was a little goalie boy and he followed the big goalie boys in Oskarshamn to my studio when they ordered new masks.. The time flies by :)

We wanted to create a design that works in all angles and feels like 100% Skellefteå. I just love to paint details, of course this mask is loaded with it, and for sure all the DAVEART trademark effects :)

I had so fun when I created this piece for Erik. We have been working for many years, and this time we created a design in a new style, a design that breath Skellefteå AIK.

Karlsson´s new SAIK mask is here

It´s with a great pleasure we present the new SHL mask for the Swedish champs Skellefteå AIK´s new keeper Henrik Karlsson.

Me and Henrik have been working together for many years and it´s always so fun to create your masks Henrik!

This new design is based on Skellefteå´s powerful and classic logo and uniform. The design is totally loaded with hidden messages connected to the team, with the rising sun in focus, and so much more to discover. A design that delivers both on a distance and close up in the TV cameras.

Svensson´s mask art continues…

It´s with a joy we present today the Swedish Champs Skellefteå AIK´s keeper Markus Svensson´s new mask creation. The design is a direct continuation of Markus´previous SAIK design which is Markus tribute to the city of Skellefteå. The classic Skellefteå sun is rising on each side of the black and yellow graphic, and with a classic painted deer skull on the top.

Everything created with lots and lots of details all over.

I remember when Markus was a young boy and followed the big hockey boys from his home team Oskarshamn and they visited my shop and ordered masks. Now is Markus a big boy just like them and he is playing in the SHL

Svensson’s Skellefteå mask

Today we have have the pleasure to present Markus Svensson’s new Skellefteå mask. It is always so special to paint for goalies that I have painted for since they were kids, makes me feel old... :-) I remember when Markus was a kid and came to my studio, he followed the big boys from his team when they were about to get their masks done by me. Now Markus himself is a big boy, playing in the Swedish elite league.

Back then Markus wanted very old school designs, and it is the same now. Very crisp and clear, and very retro. The whole design is based on Skellefteå’s cool uniform with the awesome sun from the logo, so classic. The name of the design is Sunrise, and what could be a better name for a mask. The deer skull on the top is a tribute from Markus to his new hometown Skellefteå.

And just as usual the design is pumped with details all over to be discovered when you come closer and closer, there’s a message behind every detail.

Eriksson´s new Skellefteå mask is a tribute to his friend

Today we have the pleasure to present the new mask of Skellefteå AIK´s keeper Joacim Eriksson. It was extra special to create this artwork for Joacim, it is a tribute to his childhood friend that he lost two years ago. Thank you Joacim for giving me your trust to create this special tribute.

The whole design is created in a worthy and classic style, and I worked a lot with all the details.
