Markström's Millionaires mask pays tribute to the Sedin twins horses..🐎🐎

Vancouver Canucks

I am very happy to present Jacob Markström's Vancouver Millionaires mask. It is a very unique mask design.. It pays tribute to the Sedin twins two horses...🐎🐎

Jacob called me and told me his ideas for this mask... I loved it and I couldnt wait to get started. I brainstormed and sketched. I showed my drawings to Jacob ✏️ and I could start to paint with my airbrushes at once.

It is a clean cut old school design, all based on the awesome Millionaires logos and jerseys. And when you come really close a new dimension of detail work opens up, and under the maroon glittering sky you find the horses racing.

Me and Jacob have been working together for many years and it is always so exciting to create and paint your new pieces, thanks Jacob! 😃

Eriksson´s Dragon Slayer art continues...

Vancouver Canucks

Today we have the pleasure to present the latest artwork for Vancouver Canucks and Utica Comets goalie Joacim Eriksson.

The new design is a direct continuation of his previous Dragon Slayer mask I made this winter which made huge success.

I love to always paint in new styles and come up with new ides. This design is the next chapter of Joacim´s Dragon Slayer masks. You can find his earlier masks on my site. Me and Joacim have been working together for many years, and this design is a continuation of a mask we created together for many years when Joacim played in Leksand in Sweden. It was a design with a dragon, spitting blue fire….

Here again comes a big powerful dragon, this time in Vancouver blue…. with a dragon slayer on his back, he is trying to tame the dragon… is it possible? And this dragon is spitting blue and green fire, the colors of Vancouver and Utica…!

And of course it is coming golden comets all over the mask, it is a storm coming!

The closer you come the more details open up and the design enters a new dimension. It is loaded with detail work that tells the story of the dragon, and the dragon wings on each sides makes it the dragon mask. And for sure the design is loaded with all the #DAVEART trademark effects...

Thanks Joacim, I am so proud to be your painter and evolve your mask art from mask to mask.

You are welcome to check out the mask in the mask gallery or on our Facebook page. You´ll also find a lot of behind the scene photos on our Instagram, and you´re welcome to follow us also on Twitter.

Läck´s Canucks mask for the NHL Heritage Classic pays tribute to legendary Swedish Canucks players

Vancouver Canucks

I am very happy to present Eddie Läck´s Vancouver Canucks mask for the NHL Heritage Classic game.

It was very special for me to create this unique #NHL piece. The design is created with the awesome Vancouver Millionaires logo and to match the Millionaires jersey.

Eddie contacted me and he knew exactly what he wanted on his #Vancouver #Millionaires mask. He wanted it to be a tribute to legendary Swedish players of the Vancouver #Canucks. Of course it is so many players so Eddie himself picked 4 players he wanted on the mask.

We brainstormed ideas, and a design plan crystallized in front of our eyes. I love to paint different designs every day, to be as versatile as possible and paint in different styles every day.

The whole mask is created in a rustic and vintage look to fit the theme. I worked a lot with the layout so it is a design that works in all angles and both on a distance as up close. The design is loaded with details and #DAVEART trademark effects.

When you come really close you discover the artworks with the four Swedish players. You will find Markus Näslund, Thomas Gradin, Mattias Öhlund and Johan ”Moose" Hedberg :) To paint Moose on the mask was special to me, I painted his Moose mask into the design, the very same Moose Canucks mask I created a decade ago…:)

Thanks Eddie, love to be your painter and evolve and create and paint your masks!

You are welcome to check out the mask in the mask gallery or on our Facebook page. You´ll also find a lot of behind the scene photos on our Instagram, and you´re welcome to follow us also on Twitter.

Thank you all for you interest.

This new design is created in a clean retro style, all build on the beautiful logos and colors of Vancouver Canucks. A design that delivers both on a distance, and up close when you discover all the details and effects.

I love to make mask designs in different styles from day to day. This old school design for #Vancouver #Canucks is created with contrasts.

The design is created so it works in all a angles, and the #DAVEART trademark effects delivers #3DPaintTech, #MetallicFX, #NanoDetailPaintTech and #GhostSmoke and more…

Love to be Eddie´s painter, we have been working together for so many years. Looking forward to create the next piece with you Eddie, thanks!

Eriksson´s new Canucks mask is here

Vancouver Canucks

It´s with a great joy we present Joacim #Eriksson´s new Vancouver #Canucks mask. Me and Jocke have been working together for many years and it´s always so exciting to create his mask designs. It´s extra special to create the first #NHL mask for a young talent like Jocke.

Me and Jocke talked a lot during summer and a plan crystallized how we could create this new mask look. It is all built on the beautiful logos of Vancouver Canucks, and we wanted to make it into a cool mix of old school feeling and modern FX. A design that works in all angles. The design is also loaded with details to be discovered all over the mask, just what I love to do :-)

You are welcome to check out the mask in the mask gallery or on our Facebook page.

Thank you all for your interest, and thank you Jocke, it´s so fun to create your masks!

Schneider's Vancouver Millionaires mask

Vancouver Canucks

It's with a great pleasure and honor I present Cory Schneider's Vancouver Millionaires mask. The mask is custom made for the Vancouver's Millionaires uniform.

It was so exciting to create this one for your Cory, truly special. I love to be your painter :-)

On a distance it's an old school classic styled design with the stripes in focus with the beautiful logo on the top, all created in maroon and cream colors.

Then the closer you come the more details you will discover, and the design transforms in front of your eyes to a tribute to the fantastic Millionaires team. On the left side is a tribute to the legendary Millionaire goalie Hughie Lehman, and on the other side is the whole team in old school vintage style.

And not only that, the mask is also a tribute to the fantastic native art of Canada. I just love that art style. Just as on Cory's previous Canucks mask I incorporated orcas in Canadian native art style, and they continue on this mask.

Thanks Cory for let me be a little part of this amazing project and have the pleasure to create this design for you.

You are welcome to check out the mask in the mask gallery, in the App or on our Facebook page.

Thank you all for your interest.

Waterfun with Wolfy and Orca

Vancouver Canucks

Watch out for the water splash...here it’s big time action. Wolfy jumps into the water and starts to waterski with his buddy Orca... :-) That is what we call team work.

I’m very happy to present Eddie Läck’s new Vancouver Canucks mask, with a strong Chicago Wolves connection...

On this new mask we wanted to do something really funny... Eddie asked his fans on Twitter, how about a cartoony wolf in the design. Sounded awesome, I started drawing and out from my drawings jumped Wolfy, and he jumped out into the Canucks landscape, on his waterskis run by his buddy Orca. It all created a cool mix of Canucks and Chicago Wolves. And as always it’s pumped with details to discover all over the mask.

I have been working for many years with Eddy Läck and it’s always so exciting, so proud to work with you Eddie!

You’re all welcome to check out the mask in the mask gallery.

Thank you all for your interest in my paint.

Schneider´s new Vancouver mask is a tribute to the Canadian native art

Vancouver Canucks

We welcome the Vancouver Canucks goalie Cory Schneider! It was such a joy to create this first mask artwork for you Cory!

The design is a tribute to the fantastic Canadian native art, with focus on the classic Canadian orca paintings. I just love those orcas. It is created as a so called 2 in 1 design, from a distance it is a classic old school looking Canucks design, but the closer you come and the TV cameras zoom the mask it is pumped with so much details and 3-D effects and the design transforms into a new design in front of your eyes. On the sides the mask transforms into underwater scenes with the native orcas.

You are all welcome to check out Cory Schneider´s Vancouver Canucks mask in the mask gallery or on our Facebook page. Or in the app of course, download the DAVEART App from App Store or Google Play.

Thank you for your interest.

Eddie´s Canucks mask with magic green lightning bolts

Vancouver Canucks

I have been Vancouver Canucks´ goalie Eddie Läck´s painter for many years and it is always so fun to create his paintings. Today we are happy to present his latest creation. Eddie always likes strong and powerful designs built on the team logos. And with such beautiful logos as the Canucks, it is a perfect way to go.

The design is painted with modern effects, mixed with old school feeling and a close connection to the team jersey. Everything created with lots and lots of details, and just as usual lots of hidden details created with pearl colors, details you can only see when you see the mask live, not on photos. And of course lots of metallic glitter and 3-D effects, as well as DAVEART Holographix FX. The green lightning bolts all over the design gives the design a magic feeling, just as the orcas are magic animals.

Welcome to check out Eddie Läck´s Canucks mask in the mask gallery and on our Facebook page. Thank you for your interest.

Orca action on Weiman's mask

Vancouver Canucks
Tyler Weiman of the Vancouver Canucks wanted a design in same spirit as the previous one I did for him, with a cool surfing cartoon Yeti... I came up with this idea with a mix of Canucks and Moose. On the sides a Moose design with the big mighty logo, and in the middle a cool Orca in cartoon style breaking through the ice in full speed. These motifs are framed by an old school design breathing Vancouver Canucks. Tyler liked the design idea, so I finished it with extremely much details and 3-D effects.

Orca and Moose on Läck's mixed mask

Vancouver Canucks
It's always exciting to mix two teams on the same mask, and Eddie Läck's Vancouver Canucks mask is a great example. Eddie and I talked and agreed on a cool solution where one side is devoted for Vancouver and the other for Manitoba Moose. Both sides are tied together to a whole, with lots of details and 3-D effects. Strong contrasts is the mantra for the design. Check out the design solution in the mask gallery or on Facebook!
