Reimer's new mask is a blueprint

Toronto Maple Leafs

I am very happy to present the Toronto Maple Leafs keeper James Reimer's new mask. And this is something totally different. From a distance it's a clean and classic Leafs design, but this mask is just as the Transformers slogan; More than meets the eye!

First you may see the classic flames on the chin, and that reminds of a special truck… a truck that can transform into something else... And when you come really close the mask will be transformed into the blueprint of Optimus Reim, the instructions how Optimus Reim is built.

And there is so much more to discover, you will also find the Toronto skyline, and for sure there is Optimus Reim watching over the city. The electrical lightning all over the mask is describing the electrical feeling James has when he enters the ice in the arena.

I just love to create designs that tells a story, and this one does that for sure. Love to be your painter James!

You're all welcome to check out the mask on our site, on the social networks or in the App. Thank you all for your interest.

Vokoun's Penguins mask for the alternate jersey is made of metal

Pittsburgh Penguins

I am very happy to present Pittsburgh Penguins keeper Tomas Vokoun's latest mask. This design is custom made for Penguins' alternate jersey.

The classic penguin with the scarf in focus, and the rest of the design built around it, and it's all made of metal, as a tribute to the city of Pittsburgh... It was such a joy to create this design. Love to be your painter Tomas.

The whole design is made with lots of old school feeling. From a distance it is a clean and classic look, and the closer you come the more details you will discover and the mask transforms in front of your eyes. As the mask is painted as it is made of metal you find metal details and rivets all over the mask.

The design is fully loaded with special FX like GhostSmoke, 3-D PaintTech, Metallic FX and Holographix FX and much more.

You're all welcome to check it out. Thanks for your interest.

Dubnyk's time traveller mask

Edmonton Oilers

Devan Dubnyk's new Edmonton Oilers mask is a time traveller. We go back in time and get inspired by old school mask paintings from Oilers. Devan had some really cool ideas for the design, you find both old school graphics on the top and classic oil drops right in the middle of the face. It's all mixed together, created with a new twist into a new Oilers design.

It was such a joy to create this painting an early hot summer morning. It's all made with strong contrasts, 3-D effects and cool special FX, a design that lives and breathes Edmonton Oilers. And the backplate was created in a very special way... :-)

I am so proud to be your painter Devan!

You are welcome to check out the mask in the mask gallery, in the App or on our Facebook page.

Bishop's Ottawa mask in black and white

Ottawa Senators

Today we have the honor to present Ben Bishop's latest Ottawa Senators mask. It was such a pleasure to create this one. We wanted to test something really new, how about making the whole design in only black and white. We brainstormed cool ideas and this design was created in front of our eyes.

Old school mixed with modern effects, and lots and lots of Special FX and 3-D effects. From a distance it is clean and classic, but the closer you come the more you will discover. The design transforms in front of your eyes, and you will discover the Parliament, as a tribute to the city of Ottawa.

You're all welcome to check out Ben Bishop's Ottawa mask here on the site, as well as all over on the social networks and in our App.

So proud to be your painter Ben! :-) Thank you all for your interest.

Wall of Bobs is the name of Bobrovsky's new artwork

Columbus Blue Jackets

Today we have the pleasure to present the Columbus Blue Jackets keeper Sergei Bobrovsky's latest bucket. The whole design can be summarized in one word; a wall, or more precise, a brick wall. :-)

Sergei wanted the mask to be created as a very strong and solid brick wall. No cracks in the wall what so ever. I loved the idea, a classic theme for a goalie.

My idea was to transform the whole mask into a brick wall in CBJ colors, and the design is put on the brick wall as old school posters. I built this design concept as both a tribute to his new team, his new homeland and also his motherland. I immediately got green light to start and had so much fun when I created it.

Just as usual it is pumped with details and lots of 3-D effects, a treasure map of details all over the mask, just what I love to do.

Bobs, I love to paint for you!

You're welcome to check out Sergei Bobrovsky's new Columbus mask in the mask gallery! Thank you all for your interest in my paint.

Pekka Rinne is transformed into The Voodoo PredGoalie...!

Nashville Predators

Beware...! The Voodoo PredGoalie is here, more furious than ever...! No wonder with all those big bad needles all over the head... Nashville Predators' keeper Pekka Rinne is transformed into a Voodoo doll with this mask on, or maybe more precise a Voodoo Predator doll... And nothing can hold the predator back, not even if it's attached with big bad needles... He is chewing his way out from the Voodoo mask and is ready to play...

The Voodoo Predator is so pumped to play that he is drooling...and he may need to go to a dentist after the game cause I see a tooth flying...

It was a cold windy morning this fall I came up with this idea, Pekka at once gave me green light and I can't tell you enough how fun it was to create! :-) I just love to go crazy in detail work.

Love to paint for you Pekka!

You're all welcome to check out Pekka Rinne's latest Predators mask! :-) Thank you all.

Lundqvist salutes Swedish legends

New York Rangers

Today we have the great pleasure to present the new mask artwork for Mr. Vezina himself, the New York Rangers keeper Henrik Lundqvist!

This new mask is something completely new… This mask is the start of a series of tributes to legends from his home country of Sweden.

Henrik and I talked a lot during the fall about ideas for his coming masks, and this mask series crystallized. I started to do sketches at once... :-)

Every mask will have a theme, starting with this first salute mask from Lundqvist; Legends from the Silverscreen.

On one side of the mask you find the Swedish movie legends Greta Garbo and Ingrid Bergman painted in a soft classic style, and on the other side you find the legendary Swedish director Ingmar Bergman in a movie poster inspired layout, inspired from his iconic movie The Seventh Seal.

Everything is mixed into a classic Lundqvist layout, and of course you will find all the other stuff from Henrik's mask series, such as the Statue of Liberty in bling bling, and a lot of 3-D effects and other cool Special FX. And of course the lightning all over the mask, just as on all his mask all the way from his Frölunda masks.

I am so proud to be your painter Henrik!

You are all welcome to check out Henrik Lundqvist's latest mask in the mask gallery here on the site, in our App and on our Facebook page.

Thank you all for your interest in my art. :-)

Buffalo stampede on Enroth's new Buffalo mask

Buffalo Sabres

Today we have the pleasure to present the new mask of Buffalo Sabres keeper Jhonas Enroth. It's such a joy to work with Jhonas, we have been working together for many years. Jhonas knows what he wants on his masks and he is very involved.

This new mask is a clean continuation from his past masks, always with a brick wall on the top. Then the rest of the mask is created as a clean and old school design based on the team logos and uniform. Among all the details you will find a Buffalo stampede to show power.

Jhonas, so proud to be your painter. :-)

Thank you all for your interest, you are welcome to check out the mask in the mask gallery, in the App or on Facebook.

Badass bear...

Boston Bruins

With this mask on Tuukka Rask will be transformed into a badass bear... Maximum power and action, just what I love to paint. And as always when you come closer you will discover more and more details, and when you come really close you will discover tributes to legendary Bruins players...

As usual the design is pimped with so much Special FX, from Holographix FX, 3-D PaintTech, GhostSmoke and much more. I had fun when I created this one...

You're all welcome to check out Tuukka Rask's Bruins mask in the mask gallery. Thank you all for your interest.

Mason's new scary mask digs even deeper in the horror of war

Columbus Blue Jackets

Today we have the pleasure to present the new mask creation for the Columbus Blue Jackets keeper Steve Mason. I love to come up with new ideas and paint in new styles from day to day.

The design is a continuation of his mask from the previous season, the mask named SkullSoldiers... That was a design to show the horror of war...and here we dig even deeper in the horror of war... I see myself as much a storyteller as a painter. The whole mask is created with very scary feelings, and I did it with very calm, strange and unpleasant motifs, just as you woke up from a nightmare...

The logos are attached to the mask with stitches, just as the skull on the top is stitched... I love to paint a lot of details.

You're all welcome to check out the mask in the mask gallery.

Love to paint for you Steve!

Thank you all!

The Protector Of The Throne

Calgary Flames

The Protector Of The Throne is the name of Henrik Karlsson's new Calgary Flames mask. The style of the artwork is inspired from kings, castles and knights, and Henrik is a knight protecting the net.

One side of the mask is old school, and the other side opens up and it becomes a waving knight scroll, and the scroll transforms into Flames of Calgary.

It is always such a pleasure to create and come up with new design ideas. Me and Henrik Karlsson have been working together for many years.

You're all welcome to check out the mask, the closer you come the more details you will discover. Thank you all for your interest.

Lindbäck's new Tampa mask

Tampa Bay Lightning

Today we have the pleasure to present my friend Anders Lindbäck's new Tampa Bay Lightning mask. I had so fun when I created it a hot summer day, and Anders and his family came to visit me when I worked on the mask.

Anders always wants clean and strong designs, built on the team logos. I love the challenge how to make a crisp logo design come to life. It is all all built on the team logos and a lightning storm is coming over the mask...

The closer you come to the mask the more details you will discover, and when you are really close the mask enters a new dimension of detail work and 3-D effects and much more.

I am so proud to be your painter Anders.

You're all welcome to check out the mask in the mask gallery, on Facebook and in the App.

Thank you all.

Leggio's new artwork

Rochester Americans

Today we have the pleasure to present the Rochester Americans keeper David Leggio's new mask artwork. David was so happy with his previous mask from last winter, so he wanted this mask to be a continuation of it. The design is an old school created design with lots and lots of details, a design that tells David's story. At a first look it gives a clean look, and when you come closer a new world of details and story telling opens up. I love to create so called 2 in 1 designs.

The design is a mix of Rochester Americans and Buffalo Sabres. One side is dedicated to Buffalo where David is from, with the Buffalo coin and other important details from when David grew up. The other side of the mask is dedicated to his team Americans, and also the American army, and especially the father to one of David's friends.

You're all welcome to check out the mask. Thank you for your interest in my paint.

Thanks David, I am proud to be your painter.
