In Skellefteå in the north of Sweden you can find gold mines.... So this must be some kind of a hungry monster coming from these mines...😱

Erik Hanses knew what he wanted on his new Skellefteå mask👊🏻... He wanted a golden monster, sliming all over the mask like crazy liquid in cartoon style💪🏻...

I had a lot of fun when I created this liquid piece...😎

The Nihlstorp Code...👊🏻

Cristopher Nihlstorp and I have been working together for more than a decade. And on every new mask his childhood hero Batman have always showed up in one way or the other…🎨

When we were about to start on this mask we brainstormed together in my studio. This time Christopher wanted Batman created in a more old school way. Around that we created a design filled with details picked by Christopher.🎯

The closer you come the more details you will discover, and the mask transforms into The Nihlstorp Code.🔎 The design is created in total sync with the Växjö uniform, and the matte look gives the design a nice old school feeling.

Svensson´s new Skellefteå mask has a raw look

Today we have the pleasure to present the latest mask artwork for my friend Markus Svensson.👊🏻💥

Markus is from Småland in Sweden just like I, and I remember when Markus was a kid and followed the big goalies of his team Oskarshamn to my studio when I painted their masks. And now is Markus himself a big boy playing in the SHL. It is awesome to follow the goalies careers… and I feel old..😊

Markus new mask follows in the same line as his previous masks. It is very old school, and a rough and raw look with vintage effects and splatter effects. The matte finish of the mask gives the design that extra raw look and fit the black perfect.🎨

Just as usual the design is loaded with details all over the mask to tell the story of Markus Svensson📚. The skull on the top is a tribute to his new home of Skellefteå. And just as usual all the DAVEART Trademark Super FX💎 is here.

Starkbaum´s new mask is transformed into a viking ship…💥

Watch out! The vikings are getting ready to attack!👊🏻😱

Bernhard was sure what he wanted on his new mask… since he plays in Sweden🇸🇪, he wanted badass vikings on his new masks…🔪 and he wanted the mask loaded with lots of action! I brainstormed and said to Bernhard what about if we transform the mask into a Viking Ship! And it is coming in from the ocean and they are ready to attack…?💦 -Go for it! Said Bernhard.👍🏻

The water from the ocean splashed💦 all over the viking ship and I started to paint🎨. It is so fun to use the masks shape to create the designs. These vikings seems like they already have been in a couple of fights..👊🏻

Hudacek´s Moose buddy defends the Örebro castle, and King Kronblom…👑

In Örebro it is a famous castle…🏰 so to defend the awesome castle Julius called his blue Moose buddy who always pop up on his mask… And the Moose dress up as a Knight, ready to defend the castle… and the King of Örebro… And who is the king there in the blue hat? Yep, that is Örebro´s own famous cartoon, Kronblom.👑

Kronblom is a classic Swedish cartoon🇸🇪, and with him on the mask as the King Of Örebro, yea that will for sure be an awesome tribute to the city of Örebro.👍🏻

It is always fun to transform masks into something else, and to create the mask into a castle was a fun ride.🏰

Pingu is here again…

Johan Gustafsson and I have been working together for many years, since he was a teenager. And Pingu always pop up on his masks. It was Johan´s favorite cartoon when he grew up, and same for me :)🐧
And when Johan moves to Frölunda of course Pingu comes along, and of course shows up as an Indian. Pingu looks up a bit scared, he is afraid of all the shooting pucks…🐧😬
Around it I created an old school design which breath Frölunda Indians to 100%. The indian Chief on the top in focus was a sure thing for Johan.👊🏻

It is always so exciting to follow a goalies hockey career. I painted för Jonathan when he was a kid, and now I paint for him in the SHL, his first SHL mask. Thank you Jonathan, I am honored to paint for you.😀

The design is an old school retro design, all based on the cool Modo logos. The mask is also created so it looks old and used, with lots of puck marks and scratches and stuff… it is even rust running from the screws… it is a truly old and used mask…

Steen´s mask a tribute to his home and new home

Today we have the pleasure to present the new mask artwork for my friend Stefan Steen, goalie in the Swedish Champs Växjö Lakers.🏆

Stefan wanted an old school design, with one side as a tribute to his home of Värmland were he grew up, and the other side as a tribute to his new home of Växjö.❤️

Stefan grew up very near to Selma Lagerlöf´s home, the world famous author and Nobel prize winner. I created and painted a layout with a theme of Selma with a portrait of her next to one of her figures Nils Holgersson flying on his goose.🌲

On the Växjö side is St Sigfrid in a clean style.

The eagle in the forehead is the eagle of Värmland. The mask is loaded with extreme details all over the mask, and of course all the DAVEART Trademark Super FX💎 can be found all over the mask as a treasure map.

Galbraith´s new Karlskrona mask is transformed into a U-boat…💦👊

Today we have the pleasure to present the new SHL team Karlskrona HK´s first SHL mask, for Patrick Galbraith :) It is awesome honor for me to create the first SHL mask for Karlskrona!🎂

Karlskrona is the U-boat city of Sweden, so how about transform Patrick´s mask into a real U-boat. Patrick loved the idea and I started to paint and create and have fun🎨. Then Försvarsmakten (Swedish Armed Forces) heard about it and saw it on my Instagram, and they invited Patrick and me and my family to Karlskrona to visit them and check out the cool U-boats and get a real tour in a real U-boat…! is that cool or what! Awesome experience for us and thank you so much for the invitation and cool gift. ❤️

The mask, I´m sorry, the U-boat is totally loaded with details and action, he is meeting a lot of cool friends in the deep ocean as you can see… and a little rubber duck as well… what he is doing in the middle of the ocean?🐤

Sandström´s new Brynäs artwork

The SHL season is coming closer and closer. I am very happy to present Felix Sandström´s first Brynäs mask.

It was a great honor to create it, Felix´s first SHL mask. The design is created in the old school dimensions, in totally harmony with the awesome and classic Brynäs uniforms.

The whole design is built on the Brynäs stripes, and the closer you come the more details you will discover and the mask enters a new dimension.

In the centre of the mask is the year of 1912, the year Brynäs was founded.
