For every day that goes we come closer to the start of the Swedish Elitserien. Today we have the pleasure to present the new mask artwork for HV71´s new goalie Gustaf Wesslau. I have been working with Gustaf for many years and he always likes clean and crisp designs, and that fits perfect with HV71´s logo.
The design is a so called 2 in 1 design, from distance it is an old school looking design, but the closer you come the more details you will discover and the mask enters a new dimension in front of your eyes with all the 3-D effects and much more. And not only that, it is also a tribute to the fantastic art of the Jönköping artist John Bauer, one of my favorite artists, check out his paintings.
