Taylor´s new SHL mask built brick by brick

Today we have the pleasure to present the new #SHL mask for the new #Färjestad keeper Danny #Taylor.

Danny wanted a very crisp and clean brick wall design with strong contrasts. A design that delivers in all angles and on all distances.

We talked a lot during summer and brainstormed. This design popped up and we built it brick by brick.

A strong brick wall in shiny green tones shows the power of Färjestad, and the FBK logo shines all over it.

As usual the design is pumped with all the Super FX and 3D FX you can come up with, stuff you can only see when you come close or when the TV cameras zoom it :-)

The Northern Lights on Bellissimo´s Luleå mask

Luleå´s new SHL mask for Daniel Bellissimo is built on all the mask art I have created for Luleå for almost two decades.

I have been working with Luleå HF since the mid 90s and it´s always so exciting to create new mask designs with the beautiful #Luleå logo. The classic logo with the powerful bear and the snowflakes and the northern lights, I really love it. Back in the 90´s I worked with Luleå´s keeper Jarmo #Myllys and we created many designs built on the team logo, and for every year since then we have evolved and evolved the designs.

Luleå´s new keeper Daniel #Bellissimo contacted me early during the spring and wanted to work with me. I told him about my new ideas for his new #SHL mask and he immediately gave me green light to start create. The design is a classic built design with the logo in focus with the graphic snow stars and the graphic northern lights in the night sky surrounding the mask.

Just as usual the design is fully loaded with all the Super FX. On the mask you can also find Bellissimo´s grandpa´s.

Karlsson´s new SAIK mask is here

It´s with a great pleasure we present the new SHL mask for the Swedish champs Skellefteå AIK´s new keeper Henrik Karlsson.

Me and Henrik have been working together for many years and it´s always so fun to create your masks Henrik!

This new design is based on Skellefteå´s powerful and classic logo and uniform. The design is totally loaded with hidden messages connected to the team, with the rising sun in focus, and so much more to discover. A design that delivers both on a distance and close up in the TV cameras.

Bernier´s first Toronto mask is here

"Bernier Of Toronto", yes that is the name of Jonathan Bernier´s first Toronto Maple Leafs mask for the coming season.

Me and Jonathan have been working together for many years, and it´s a always such a great pleasure to create your masks Jonathan! It was truly special to create this piece.

This new mask is created in a mix of old school style and modern FX, me and Jonathan setup the design during summer. It´s a clean and crisp continuation of Jonathan´s previous designs with the lion giving strength just as usual on top and in focus, and around that the crisp Toronto design is built.

As usual the design is loaded with special FX such as DAVEART Holographix, 3D PaintTech, Metallic FX and so much more.

Dark forces on PW´s new mask…

Mean and sinister artworks created in horror style are in focus on PW´s new SHL bucket… His new Färjestad mask goes in the same style as his previous masks I´ve created for him, but now it´s double mean with double bad guys on this mask…

Blood is dripping… Just stay away...

Honken goes back to 1999…

Beware, it´s a tiger on the ice in Gävle!

It is always such a pleasure to create the mask art for Johan Holmqvist, we have been working together for more than 15 years, it´s many masks…:)

For this new mask Johan wanted something really wild and spectacular, just like his mask back in 1999 when he won the Swedish Championship with Brynäs. The mask he had back then was the TomatoTiger… o man I remember it was so well, I had so fun when I created that piece, a badass tiger all over the mask hit by a tomato right in the middle of the face… So same theme all over again on this one, but no tomato this time :)

I just love to paint and create in different styles every day, and load it with details to be discovered all over the mask, designs that works both up close and on a distance.

Is it a fart on Linus´ Modo mask?

Today we have the pleasure to present the young Modo talent Linus Ullmark´s new SHL mask.

With the same name as the cartoon "Linus på linjen", it was sure what he wanted on his new Modo mask… :) The original title of the italian cartoon is La Linea.

The graphic design is created in total sync with the Modo jersey, and it is pumped with details, and you will find the cartoon Linus all over the mask. One of the cartoons is a goalie of course... And can you find the one looking like he is farting…?

It´s all in the details…

Today we have the pleasure to present the new SHL mask for the AIK keeper Daniel Larsson. Daniel wants clean and graphic designs, with bold lines, and then we have loaded it with details to be discovered al over the mask, it is all in the details…:)

The design delivers on a distance in the seats in the arenas with the clear lines, and then when the TV cameras zoom it all the Metallic FX, 3D PaintTech, GhostSmoke and Holographics kicks in :)

It is so special to paint for AIK. I remember when I was a kid and often watched AIK play, and in the defense they had the legend Börje Salming, it was magic :) I´ve been working with AIK for so many years and it´s always such a joy to create with the powerful AIK logo.

Modig says STOP…

Just as usual Mattias Modig says STOP on his new SHL mask. The STOP sign we have used on Mattias´masks for many years. The rest of the design is a mix of old school style with lots of modern 3D effects, to create a classic Växjö design.

The lion from the Växjö logo and also the symbol of Småland´s shield is a must on a Lakers mask, and the rest is pimped with details to be discovered when you come closer. It´s all electrified with golden lightnings. You will find it all here, DAVEART Holographic FX, Metallic FX and DAVEART 3D PaintTech and so much more :)

Svensson´s mask art continues…

It´s with a joy we present today the Swedish Champs Skellefteå AIK´s keeper Markus Svensson´s new mask creation. The design is a direct continuation of Markus´previous SAIK design which is Markus tribute to the city of Skellefteå. The classic Skellefteå sun is rising on each side of the black and yellow graphic, and with a classic painted deer skull on the top.

Everything created with lots and lots of details all over.

I remember when Markus was a young boy and followed the big hockey boys from his home team Oskarshamn and they visited my shop and ordered masks. Now is Markus a big boy just like them and he is playing in the SHL

Rautio´s new SHL mask is old…

Me and David Rautio have been working together for more than a decade, many masks :) Today we present my friend´s latest bucket, and it´s created just as his previous mask, in a old and used style, because this mask is heavily used and scratched :) It delivers a cool vintage look.

The design is the story of David´s life, you will find so much details about David. Among them the bird Berguv, which is also one of Davids names, and the Swedish mountains Lapporten. Of course you will also find The Joker as on all David´s latest masks, and lots of other stuff, but biggest and in focus is the Luleå hockey dude of course.

Lundström´s new AIK bucket

Today we have the pleasure to present Niklas Lundström´s latest SHL bucket. Me and Niklas have been working together for many years and it´s always a joy to create your masks Niklas :)

It was so fun to paint and create this design in old school style, and so pumped with details to be discovered al over the mask, created with DAVEART 3D PaintTech and DAVEART Holographix and much more fun stuff. And with a nice buddy pop up on the side :)

Sandberg´s new Örebro mask transformed into a castle..

Today we have the pleasure to present Tim Sandberg´s new Örebro mask, the new Swedish SHL team. It was truly special to create this the very first SHL mask for Örebro Hockey and Tim.

This mask is a 100% Örebro mask, there we have transformed the whole mask into a castle with all the details created with castle theme, or more precise Örebro Castle, the famous castle from the town. If you look close on the mask you will see the castle brickwall, and if you look even closer you will also find the Örebro Castle.

Tim and me have been working together many times, and just as on his previous masks there is always a tribute to Finland, here you will find the Finnish lion, and so much other details in this old school design.

Johansson´s new Frölunda mask

Den kommande SHL-säsongen närmar sig med stormsteg och idag har vi nöjet att presentera Lars Johanssons nya Frölunda-kruka!

En klassiskt skapad design som bokstavligen kokar över av detaljer att kolla in över hela masken. Bland annat hittar man en actionfylld Batman på varsin sida som kollar in läget, och även en dalahäst som en hyllning till Lars hemtrakter :)

The coming SHL season is coming closer, and today we have the pleasure top present the new bucket for the Frölunda keeper Lars Johansson!

A classic created design with strong contrasts and lots and lots of details to discover all over the mask. Among all the details you will find Batman, a special request from Lars, as well as a dala horse, a tribute to Lars´ origin.

Rastislav Stana goes old school

It´s with a great joy we present the new KHL mask artwork for CSKA Moscow´s keeper Rastislav Stana.

The design is a direct continuation of Rasti´s previous mask design created in a graphic style with lots of old school contrasts… It is all built on the powerful team logo and the CSKA stars, and the closer you come the more details opens up and the design enters a new dimension.

It is a tribute to the city of Moscow with the Vasilij Cathedral drawing up on the side, and so much more details all over. I just love to paint a lot of details and connect the design.

It was a joy to create this piece for you Rasti, as always :-)

Robin Rahm transforms into the Christmas Straw Goat, and it´s on fire again…!

Med sin nya Brynäs-mask inför den kommande SHL-säsongen blir Robin Rahm förvandlad till julbocken i Gävle… Eller rättare sagt en målvakts-julbock, för han har ju en riktig old school-målvaktsmask på sig…. Och julbocken är riktigt arg, för det är som vanligt, nån har återigen tänt eld på julbocken i Gävle…

Julbocken spelar dessutom riktigt hård hockey… för halva masken är sönderskjuten, ajaj!

With his new Brynäs mask for the coming SHL season Robin Rahm transforms into the Christmas Straw Goat of Gävle…. or more precise a Goalie Christmas Straw Goat, because he is wearing a real old school goalie mask.

In Scandinavia the Christmas Goat made of straw is a sure thing in every home every Christmas. And in Brynäs´ hometown Gävle the huge Christmas Straw Goat in city is a tradition every Christmas… but every year someone somehow set it on fire… And now it happens again!

And this Christmas Straw Goat plays really tough hockey, half of the mask is breaking into pieces… ouch!

Alsenfelts elektriska Leksands-mask är en hyllning till Dalarna

Nya säsongen i SHL närmar sig med stormsteg, och vi har massor av nya SHL-masker att presentera till alla SHL-målvaktsstjärnorna! Vi börjar med Leksands keeper Oscar Alsenfelts nya mask :)

Denna mask är skapad helt i is, och designen är skapad i en klassisk old school-anda, med den mäktigt vackra Leksands-logon regerandes i mitten. Självklart finns också dalahästar med som en del i designen som en hyllning till Dalarna.

Men vad är det som händer med masken, isen spricker sönder, och de elektriska krafterna bryter ut och ger masken magisk kraft! :-) Älskar att måla mycket detaljer att upptäcka över hela masken när man kollar nära.

The season in SHL is coming closer and closer, and we have a lot of SHL masks to present to all the SHL goalie stars. We start with Leksand´s keeper Oscar Alsenfelt´s new lid.

Me and Oscar have been working for many years and it´s always such a joy to create his masks. Oscar came to my paint studio and we sat down and planned his design.

This mask is made of ice, and the design is made in a classic old school style, with the powerful Leksand logo in the middle. Of course you will also find Dalahorses as a part of the design as a tribute to Dalarna.

But what is happening with the mask, the ice i breaking… and electrical lightnings breaks through and gives the mask magic forces! :-) I Love to paint details to be discovered all over the mask when you look close...
