It´s with a great joy and pride we present Anaheim Ducks goalie and my buddy Frederik Andersen´s latest Ducks bucket…

Both me and Frederik #Andersen wanted to do something very unique on this #NHL mask, something totally new… An early summer morning this idea came to me… a rough and violent design, in the storm of ducks…..and it bleed orange… Yes when you are a true #Anaheim #Ducks goalie you bleed orange…

The design created totally unique contrasts, it was so exciting to see it grow in front of my eyes. The result was not only a mask that live and breath Anaheim Ducks to 100%, it also bleed Anaheim Ducks…

Just as usual the design is totally packed with extreme detail work, just what I love to do.

JFK tribute on Campbell´s new mask

Today we have the pleasure to present #DallasStars young super talent and my friend Jack Campbell´s latest #NHL mask art. It is always such a pleasure to create the mask art for you Jack, so proud to be your personal artist.

Jack #Campbell wanted a very patriotic design, 100% american as he is… We wanted to do a patriotic design in a new way, we started to brainstorm. What can be more american than a President design, and more precise a tribute to the legendary American President John F Kennedy.

It was very exciting to create this design and mix the Dallas Stars theme and colors with a worthy artwork of JFK. In the middle is JFK when he is working in The Oval Office. The closer you come the more details you will discover, it is a like a 2 in 1 design. Among all the details you will also find his most famous quoted speech, and also the USS John F. Kennedy, and for sure the Presidential seal. I just love to create details.

As usual it is loaded with all the #DAVEART trademark effects, such as #3DPaintTech, #MetallicFX, #HolographixFX, #NanoDetailPaintTech, just to name a few…

Gibson´s new Ducks mask is transformed into an Insane Asylum for ducks… and it´s haunted…

Gibson´s new Ducks mask is transformed into an Insane Asylum for ducks… and it´s haunted…

Holy smokes… it is a Psycho Duck on the loose, beware, he can be dangerous… because he has no longer his strait jacket on…

The whole mask is transformed into a badass Insane Asylum for ducks… and not only that… it is really bad news... the Insane Asylum is haunted and comes to life! The top of the building are being transformed into a terrible monster… Bricks are flying all over…. And check out the Mighty Ducks logos on the walls… they are coming to life and the eyes are glowing…! It makes the Insane Asylum going even more crazy than we thought it could be…. No wonder why the Psycho duck escapes…. The bars are bent open….

The Psycho Duck has escaped…! And he has left his strait jacket behind, you see it there laying around…

There on the side you find a Wanted sign on the wall, hope they can catch the Psycho Duck again… And even the Wanted poster is haunted… Check out the eyes in the poster...

And hey if you look close you can see it is still a Psycho Duck in one of the cells, he sure looks crazy...

It was with a great joy I created this new piece for Anaheim Ducks keeper John Gibson, love to be your painter John! It is so exciting to create story telling designs like this.

I just love to come up with new and unique design ideas every day… :) And go totally crazy on insane detail work :)

I can tell you this, I had extremely fun when I created this #NHL piece for my buddy Viktor #Fasth.

With this #Anaheim #Ducks mask put on Viktor is transformed to not only a duck, he have also put on the Judge Duck helmet…

Let us present…: The Zombie Fryer! The most effective weapon against zombies!

Kevin Poulin wanted something really, really scary on his new New York Islanders mask… Something very badass with zombies… something never done before… I started to think… And this idea emerged in my brain… How about transform the whole mask into Old Sparky….

As you know, the only way to stop a zombie is to kill the brain… and here is when Old Sparky can be in handy… Look closely on the chin of the mask, there you find the power switch, and it is turned on… Holy smokes, even the eye of the zombie pops out…

I just love to come up with new ideas day in day out and play with the airbrush :) Fantasy is my biggest passion… But I do not think zombies love this idea….

Schneider´s mask saga continues

"The Art of NJD - The Saga Continues" is the name of Cory #Schneider ´s next #NHL mask for the #NewJersey #Devils. The design is a direct continuation of Cory´s previous mask that made such huge success. It was so exciting to create it. I love to always try to think outside the box and come up with new and unique design ideas, never stand still.

This design is built with the same elements as Cory´s last mask, and we just changed some fundamental coloring. Every mask I create is 100% unique, I never do copies of my own work.

Me and Cory brainstormed a lot during summer, we wanted to create something new, a totally new style with the NJD artworks. This design series crystallized in front of our eyes, Schneider´s totally unique mask look was here.

Our plan was a design that works in all angles, and a so called 2 in 1 design, a design that works both on a distance in the arenas, and close up in the TV cameras. At a first glimpse it´s an old school design, and when you come closer and closer a new dimension opens up and the design transforms into a new design in front of your eyes.

As usual it is loaded with all the #DAVEART trademark effects, such as #3DPaintTech, #MetallicFX, #HolographixFX, #NanoDetailPaintTech, just to name a few :)

Lundberg´s Örebro mask is a 2 in 1 design

Henrik Lundberg´s new Örebro mask is a so called 2 in 1 design. At a first glimpse it is classic created old school design that live and breath Örebro Hockey. And then when you come closer a new world opens up, and you will find so much detail work that tells the story of Henrik´s origin and life today.

On one side of the mask, it is a tribute to Henrik´s hometown, and there is also a tribute to his coach from Henrik´s young years. And that is created on the left side, closest to his heart.

The other side is a tribute to Henrik´s new hometown.

As usaul the design is created with all kind of DAVEART trademark effects, and all the details that I just love to create.

Markström's new mask transformed into a Florida Palm Tree

It was such a creative and exciting adventure to transform Jacob #Markström 's new #NHL mask into a palm tree, and not only a palm tree, a real Florida Panters palm tree :)

It is all built and created on the cool logos of #Florida #Panthers, you even find a nice sunrise there... But hey watch out, it seems to be a panther hiding in the palm, ready to attack!

Ottawa Senators´ keeper Robin Lehner´s latest #NHL mask is the next step in his own Lehner mask series "SoulHunter". We wanted to create something totally unique, the nature of a nightmare…

The design that we saw in front of us was a sinister and unpleasant feeling, all created in a very violent style with a matt rugged finish, a design that delivers in all angles…

When the #Ottawa #Senators mask was created we saw what we had created, the feeling you have when wake up in the middle of a nightmare…

The inferno here is created all in black and white, with some red eerie details… The closer you come, the more details you will discover, and the deeper you dig into the nightmare… And when you come really close you will discover things that will confirm that you ARE in a nightmare. Mission completed...

Love to work with you Robin, you always have so cool and unique ideas and it is so exciting to evolve the ideas together with you. I love to create and paint in different styles from day to day and try to be as versatile as possible. Me and #Lehner has been working since Robin was a kid goalie, and I remember every mask since then! :)

Unique Moose mask… it can be yours! Charity auction, help us fight children´s cancer

Today we present a very unique Moose mask, and it can be yours! We will sell it in a charity auction for Barncancerfonden. It is a Swedish foundation fighting children´s cancer, see more at www.barncancerfonden.se . Help us fight children´s cancer.

When Johan Moose Hedberg trained with #NewYork Rangers earlier this fall #Rangers quickly ordered a mask for him and I created it for him. Now when Moose will not continue with Rangers me and Moose decided we wanted to do something extra special with this mask. We will auction it off for charity, and the money goes to Barncancerfonden. E-mail us your bid to david@daveart.com, the auction closes 15th of October.

It may be the coolest Moose masks ever! Since the mask should have a New York theme, we transformed Moose into Snake Plissken, inspired from the classic movie "The Escape from New York" :)

The mask is just as in the movie… New York in the future, a bad future and New York is damaged and built into a prison! You see the prison walls there on each side with the NYR shield on it.

But nothing can hold Moose Plissken, he just breaks through the wall, and bricks are flying all over. Of course he has his eye patch and leather jacket, and huge gun, just as the Plissken he is. And check out the gun closely, it not only has laser sight, check out the name of the gun, it is a Mooze Uzi :)

On the other side you see the liberty statue fallen into pieces, just as in the movie… and hey there is also a Wanted poster, they are trying to catch Moose Plissken! Watch out!

The chin of the mask is transformed into New York street life, with a street and a classic red fire hydrant, and a steaming manhole of course! 100% New York...

I just love to paint action, and extreme details, and create new Moose characters, and create story telling designs, and here you have it all!
